Business Operations Admin → chief of operations (Boutique Firm) Are you a superb administrator who knows you're capable of more than just task management? We're a boutique firm searching for someone who's exceptionally organized today and ready to grow into a leader tomorrow. You'll start as our Business Operations Admin — but this is a launchpad, not a ceiling. A note up front: we value the ability to plan and lead far more than raw doership. We're looking for someone who can size up a situation, bring order to it, and drive a clear plan forward. You'll start by owning our financial management and core business processes — bringing order and clarity to our finances first, then moving into growing a key area of the business. As you organize and take on more responsibility, your growth and bonus compensation will be adjusted. We value capability to lead and get missions accomplish. Your First 30 Days We'll assign you a business to assess, organize, and build an action plan for. That's your evaluation — not how much you can do, but how well you can read a situation, structure it, and lead a smart plan forward. Core focus initially will be to manage day-to-day financials and bookkeeping with a clerk. Document and improve our systems and business processes Set clear goals, draft the plans, and lead the work to completion Write the standards the team operates by Work autonomously while collaborating closely with the team Engage directly with our partners as a trusted operator Y ou are: A natural communicator who engages teams and partners with confidence You are not afraid to speak your mind - we offer psychological safety and value transparency A planner and leader first — strategic, organized, and decisive Passionate about making systems work and improving the business A self-starter who loves learning and solving problems Someone who takes a project from idea to done Skills: Superb project management Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online Strong organization and written communication Smartsheet experience a plus You start as an administrator. But as you demonstrate project ownership and proactive leadership, you advance to a critical role on our leadership team. We're looking for a long-term partner who wants to grow with us.
