Position Summary The Supply Chain & Inventory Specialist plays a vital role in managing inventory, procurement, and vendor coordination. This role ensures efficient operations by overseeing purchase orders, supplier negotiations, component forecasting, and logistics tracking within our global supply chain network. Key Responsibilities Inventory & Procurement Management Manage finished good setup (SKU + BOM only). Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs) for components. Send PO forecasts to vendors to ensure timely supply. Compare pricing and negotiate with suppliers before placing POs. Handle sending samples and coordinate feedback. Check Pre-Production Samples (PPS) & Product Data Sheets (PDS). Vendor & Logistics Coordination Follow up with vendors on: Production schedules, lead times and MOQs Shipping details and tracking Booking arrangements with Freight Forwarders Implementation of company requirements Review and verify shipping documents (invoices & packing slip) for accuracy. Collect and compare Freight Forwarder quotations for bidding and sourcing. Arrange cargo pickup and coordinate logistics. Track cargo in transit and communicate updates to all stakeholders. Receive components in Odoo upon arrival and update records. Confirm shipping methods and delivery addresses. Data & Forecasting Maintaining ordering record spreadsheets. Conduct component forecasting to prevent shortages. Assist in budgeting and forecasting for supply chain planning. Supplier & Artwork Coordination Source new vendors to improve supplier options and increase cost effectiveness. Coordinate artwork approval with the US team and vendors to improve efficiency. Cross-check artwork details before submitting to the supplier. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (preferred). Experience: 2+ years in supply chain, inventory management, procurement, or logistics. ERP Systems: Proficiency in Odoo or similar ERP systems. Data & Analysis: Strong skills in spreadsheets (google sheets), data analysis, and forecasting. Attention to Detail: Accuracy in inventory tracking, PO management, and shipping documentation. Communication: Excellent ability to liaise with vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teams. English fluent proficiency is required (Chinese Mandarin would be a plus). Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate and resolve supply chain bottlenecks.
