To reach our goals, we must grow ourselves. Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Specialist to support our HR team in attracting, hiring, and integrating new employees. This role will be responsible for assisting with recruitment activities, coordinating the onboarding processes, and ensuring a smooth experience for new hires. The ideal candidate is proactive, people-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Role Responsibilities Recruitment Support: Assist in sourcing candidates through job boards, including posting and monitoring ads for new hires. Review resumes and applications, conduct initial screenings, and schedule interviews. Coordinate with the hiring manager to schedule interviews and follow-ups. Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure data accuracy. Communicate with candidates regarding application status and next steps. Onboarding Coordination: Prepare and send offer letters, contracts, and new hire paperwork. Organize and conduct new hire orientation sessions. Ensure all required onboarding documents are collected and filed accordingly. General HR Support: Maintain employee records and update HR databases. Support HR team with administrative tasks as needed. Core Competencies Experience: 1-2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and HR software (ATS, onboarding platforms, etc.). Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset. Interview Style: We are specifically looking for someone who can conduct interviews in a fluid, conversational manner. Interviews should feel engaging and cohesive, not like a checklist of questions. Candidates should feel comfortable, understood, and guided through the conversation while still allowing us to properly assess qualifications. Compensation & Schedule Pay: $14-16 per hour Job Type: Part-Time 20 hours per week to start (up to 30 hours depending on business needs and your availability/flexibility) Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (US PST)
