Sysadmin, devop manager for email infrastructure

We are seeking a reliable, expert-level Linux Systems Administrator to manage, monitor, and scale our infrastructure on a steady, monthly basis. Our core operation involves email outreach using our own dedicated servers and dedicated IP blocks. The ideal candidate will focus entirely on server stability, OS-level performance, and setting up new infrastructure as we scale. Key Responsibilities:Server Installation & Setup: Provision, configure, and secure new dedicated servers and VPS instances as our infrastructure grows.Third-Party Provider Configuration: Connect, integrate, and configure third-party services, APIs, control panels, and server providers. Core Service Management: Install and maintain standard services, with a specific focus on Linux distributions (CentOS, Ubuntu) and basic Postfix mail server configurations. Routine Maintenance: Perform regular OS security updates, patch kernels, monitor disk space, and optimize server resource usage (CPU, RAM, Disk I/O). Troubleshooting: Rapidly diagnose and resolve server crashes, network drops, or performance bottlenecks. Required Experience:Deep expertise in Linux Server Administration, specifically Ubuntu and CentOS.Practical experience configuring and managing Postfix and DNS records.Experience handling hardware/hosting provisioning with bare-metal or cloud providers.Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) to automate routine server setups and monitoring. Project Terms:This is a fixed-price monthly retainer of $1500 USD per month for an initial 6-month contract, renewable based on performance. The budget covers new server setups, daily maintenance, and emergency troubleshooting.
