Systems Administrator & Training Specialist
Worldwide
We are an HR and operations partner supporting a multi-state affordable housing property management company. We are looking for a RealPage Systems Administrator and Training Specialist to take full ownership of the client's RealPage environment and their training function. This is a dual-focus role. In the first 60 to 90 days, the work is heavily weighted toward RealPage system administration: stabilizing the environment, restructuring user permissions, building standard operating procedures, and clearing a backlog of configuration work. As the system stabilizes, the role shifts toward training, roughly a 60/40 split favoring training, where you will own the learning management system, build curriculum, and teach site teams how to use RealPage correctly so recurring problems stop happening. The ideal person bridges two worlds: deep familiarity with property management systems and a genuine talent for teaching adults how to use them. What Is RealPage? RealPage is one of the leading property management software platforms used across the United States residential real estate industry. Property management companies use it to run nearly every aspect of their operations: leasing and applications, resident screening, rent collection and ledgers, accounting and financial reporting, maintenance and work orders, budgeting, and business intelligence. It is made up of several connected modules, including OneSite (the core property management and leasing system), RealPage Accounting, ActiveBuilding (resident engagement), YieldStar (revenue and pricing), and RealPage University (the built-in learning management system used to train staff). For an affordable housing company, RealPage also carries the compliance layers tied to programs like LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8, which means configuration accuracy directly affects regulatory compliance. In short, RealPage is the central nervous system of the business, and this role is responsible for keeping it configured correctly and for teaching the teams who use it every day. Direct RealPage experience is a strong advantage, but a fast learner with a deep property management software background and a strong training skill set can succeed in this role. What You Will Own RealPage System Administration ▸Full administrative management of the RealPage platform, including user permissions, roles, and access control ▸Property setup and configuration for new communities, including compliance layers and business model alignment ▸Configuration changes across the portfolio (screening criteria, late fee calculations, jurisdiction-specific settings) ▸First-line help desk support for property and corporate teams on RealPage questions Ticket monitoring and trend analysis to identify recurring issues that can be solved through training or configuration ▸ Coordination with RealPage support on escalated technical issues ▸ Development and maintenance of standard operating procedures for RealPage workflows ▸ Permissions audits and restructuring toward RealPage standard roles ▸ Reporting on system utilization and adoption to surface underused features ▸ Participation in recurring RealPage implementation and operations meetings Training & Learning Management ▸Administration of the learning management system (RealPage University or equivalent): user management, content uploads, course configuration, and reporting ▸ Organizational training calendar management and scheduling of internal and third-party sessions ▸ New hire mandatory training coordination and tracking ▸ Compliance training program management across Fair Housing, LIHTC, HUD, and state-specific requirements ▸ Training record maintenance with automated reminders at 90, 60, and 30 day intervals ▸ Curriculum review, development, and annual content assessment ▸ Review of existing recorded training to identify quality issues and content gaps Development of new training content, including AI-assisted course creation with built-in comprehension checks ▸ Training participation and effectiveness reporting on a quarterly basis Required Qualifications ▸ 3+ years in a training, LMS administration, or instructional design role (this is non-negotiable) ▸ Demonstrated experience building training content and curriculum from scratch, not just scheduling sessions ▸ Working knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design ▸ Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn complex software systems quickly ▸ Excellent written and verbal English communication, with a talent for explaining technical concepts simply ▸ Experience creating documentation, SOPs, or training guides ▸ Comfort working independently and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strongly Preferred ▸Direct hands-on experience with RealPage (OneSite, Accounting, ActiveBuilding, YieldStar, Business Intelligence, or related modules) ▸ Property management experience, especially affordable housing ▸ Familiarity with LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, or Fair Housing compliance ▸ Experience with system permissions and role-based access configuration ▸ Experience producing video or interactive e-learning content What Success Looks Like ▸Within 90 days: permissions are clean, SOPs exist for the most common workflows, and the help desk backlog is under control ▸Within 6 months: site teams are trained, recurring tickets have dropped measurably, and leadership is no longer pulled into routine system corrections ▸ Ongoing: a living training program that keeps pace with regulatory changes and new property onboarding Engagement Details ▸ Long-term engagement with consistent weekly hours ▸ Remote ▸ Must overlap with US Eastern business hours ▸ Reporting to the Intesa HR operations team Candidate Submission Information Please include a brief note describing: ▸Your hands-on experience with property management systems, ideally RealPage. ▸A specific example of a training program or curriculum you developed, including the results it produced. Candidates with both RealPage experience and a strong training background will be prioritized for immediate interviews.
