Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Manager for Podcast Agency
Worldwide
We are a growing podcast production agency looking for someone to lead recruiting, onboarding, and training across multiple operational roles. This is not a traditional recruiter-only position. We are looking for someone who can help build a proactive talent pipeline by identifying strong candidates, onboarding them into our systems, and ensuring they are prepared before operational demand requires them. You will work closely with leadership to help source, evaluate, train, and support new team members across key roles such as Project Management, Quality Control, editing, copywriting, and other operations functions. Responsibilities - Source and screen high-quality candidates for operational roles Identify strong vs. weak candidates based on role requirements - Manage candidate communication using existing templates and workflows - Coordinate interviews, trial stages, and onboarding timelines - Guide new hires through onboarding, SOPs, and internal systems Support role-specific training and ensure candidates meet performance standards - Collect feedback and help improve onboarding systems over time - Coordinate with internal leads to confirm candidate performance during trials How the Role Works The role begins with an onboarding period where you will learn our systems, workflows, and role expectations through training materials, SOPs, and live onboarding sessions. Initial onboarding typically requires approximately 10 hours and is paid as a $100 onboarding milestone once standards are met. From there, you will help onboard new team members into specific roles. Each role has structured training and milestone-based progression to ensure candidates are fully prepared before taking on responsibility independently. We are looking for someone who can think beyond hiring and contribute to building a stronger long-term talent system. What We’re Looking For - Strong recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition experience - Experience onboarding or training team members - Highly organized with strong attention to detail - Excellent English communication - Comfortable working independently within structured systems - Able to give clear feedback and maintain high standards - Reliable availability during or near EST working hours Bonus: experience in podcast, media, agency, or remote-team environments Do Not Apply If - You have never worked in recruiting, onboarding, or people operations - You struggle with structure, follow-through, or documentation - You have limited bandwidth or unreliable availability - You are looking for short-term or inconsistent freelance work - You cannot commit consistently for at least 3 months Please apply with relevant experience in recruiting, onboarding, HR, or training. Bonus points if you include an example of a hiring or onboarding process you helped manage.
