Tech Support X-Ray Image Monitoring Specialist (Remote) for weapons detection company (DVO)

Looking for a proactive and technically sharp X-Ray Image Monitoring Specialist to join our 24/7 support team. In this role, you will remotely monitor live X-ray screening feeds across client sites and conduct outbound calls to on-site personnel to communicate alerts, verify equipment status, and ensure uninterrupted weapons detection operations. This is a critical frontline role requiring both strong visual attention and confident verbal communication skills. Key Responsibilities Monitor live X-ray screening image feeds remotely across multiple client sites simultaneously Conduct outbound calls to on-site security staff and client contacts to communicate real-time threat alerts, equipment issues, or screening anomalies Follow up via phone on open tickets, unresolved incidents, and pending client actions Proactively call clients to verify system status, confirm issue resolution, and ensure screening operations are running as expected Document all flagged events, call outcomes, escalations, and client interactions accurately in the ticketing system Coordinate with the internal technical support team when equipment faults affect image quality or feed availability Follow established screening protocols, call handling SOPs, and escalation procedures at all times Participate in regular image training exercises, call quality reviews, and proficiency assessments Support shift handover with accurate status reports and outstanding action items Qualifications Prior experience in a technical support, security operations, or outbound calling role required Confident and professional phone communication skills — comfortable initiating calls and managing real-time conversations under pressure Strong visual attention to detail with the ability to sustain focus over extended monitoring periods Familiarity with X-ray image interpretation, threat recognition, or security screening is a strong plus Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Reliable home office setup with stable high-speed internet and a quality headset Ability to work shifting schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays Experience with ticketing systems such as Freshdesk is an advantage Preferred Background Experience in airport security, customs screening, law enforcement, or military Background in BPO, call center, or remote technical support serving U.S.-based clients Knowledge of TSA, DHS, or international aviation/venue security standards
