What you'd actually do Build and maintain WordPress sites - custom builds, not just dragging blocks around Wire up AI agents and automations: Claude/LLMs, HubSpot, Make/n8n, APIs, the lot Pick up whatever lands - a broken VPS, a client who needs a quote system, an ad account that needs sorting Work directly with the founder and own your work end to end Juggle several client accounts at once without dropping balls You're probably right for this if You genuinely know WordPress - comfortable in PHP, can debug a white screen, build a theme, not scared of the database You've already been building things with AI - not just chatting to it, actually shipping You teach yourself whatever you don't know, fast You'd rather ship something rough today than plan something perfect for three weeks You don't need a manager standing over you Bonus points HubSpot / CRM automation JS / React, REST APIs Server and hosting basics - Hostinger, cPanel, DNS, a bit of Linux Paid media (Meta Ads) familiarity You've run your own side projects or freelanced What you don't need A degree (we don't have one either) Agency pedigree To be a salesperson - that's covered The deal Flat rate, flexible working, bonus scheme on per project deliver.
