Technical Product Manager & Project Management for App Development

We’re a Germany-based SaaS company with a global reach, powered by an amazing and diverse international remote team. We’re on the hunt for a full-time Product & Project Manager with a strong tech background to lead the re-development of an app that’s already being built with Ionic. Our current PM is shifting to a different project, so we need someone experienced to step in and drive things forward. Ideally, you’ve managed app projects before and are familiar with all the necessary App Store guidelines and deployment processes. We’re not looking for big, formal project plans or traditional PM methods like Agile or Prince—we’ve been in the software business for over 30 years, and we know what works. We’re more interested in results and how you get them. Quick updates via Slack or WhatsApp are far more effective for us than long, formal emails. Being fast and to the point is key. Here’s what you’ll be taking care of: - Product Strategy: Guiding the product roadmap to keep it aligned with our business goals. - Data-Driven Approach: Setting up and monitoring key product metrics, and creating dashboards to support smart decision-making. - Team Management: Leading and collaborating with development, design, and customer success teams. - QA: You’ll be the first to test new builds and provide feedback to developers. - UX: Using user feedback and data insights to improve our app’s usability and make our customers happy. Your Profile: Experience in technical product management, software development, or a similar role Strong experience using Claude Code or similar AI coding agents Ability to understand and work with software architecture Experience with web or mobile application projects Understanding of: Frontend technologies Backend systems APIs Databases Git-based development workflows We use Slack, Zoom, Teams, and Jira to stay connected across various time zones, Monday through Friday, and sometimes on weekends.
