# NRCS Technical Service Provider — Soil Carbon Amendments (Code 336) | Missouri & Kansas ## About Us We are a Kansas City-based biochar production company supplying premium biochar and compost blend soil amendments to agricultural producers through the USDA EQIP Code 336 conservation funding program. As awareness of Code 336 grows across Missouri and Kansas, we are building a full-service offering that guides farmers through the entire process — from initial application to practice certification — so they can access meaningful conservation funding with minimal burden on their operation. We are looking for an experienced Technical Service Provider to anchor this service and help us scale it. --- ## The Role You will manage the end-to-end Code 336 application process on behalf of our producer clients — qualifying farms, developing conservation plans, coordinating with local NRCS field offices, and certifying practice implementation after product delivery. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build a recurring book of EQIP-managed accounts in a fast-growing niche. **Core responsibilities:** - Qualify producers for EQIP Code 336 eligibility and guide them through the application process - Develop Conservation Activity Plans (CAPs) meeting NRCS standards for soil carbon amendment practices - Coordinate with Missouri and Kansas NRCS field offices to manage timelines and contract execution - Certify practice implementation and submit payment documentation through TechReg and ProTracts - Conduct site assessments and soil documentation to support application ranking - Build and maintain an active pipeline of Code 336 applicants --- ## Ideal Candidate - Former NRCS or USDA employee with hands-on EQIP administration experience - Active NRCS TSP certification, or fully qualified and ready to obtain it quickly - Located in Missouri or Kansas with existing NRCS field office relationships - Genuine interest in regenerative agriculture and soil health - Tech-savvy and comfortable working remotely in USDA systems (TechReg, AgLearn, ProTracts, eAuth) - Self-motivated and production-oriented — this role rewards results, not hours --- ## Compensation This is a performance-based role. We are not offering a salary or retainer. You will bill hourly for documented work and earn performance bonuses tied to successfully approved and implemented contracts. Compensation grows with your pipeline.
