Technical Support Representative | Linux, VPS & Web Hosting

We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Representative to join our team. This role combines customer-facing technical support with hosting-related troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting Linux servers, VPS environments, web hosting services, and customers within the hosting industry. We are looking for someone who can work independently, communicate professionally with customers, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and remain calm during critical situations. Responsibilities * Respond to customer support tickets and technical inquiries * Troubleshoot Linux servers, VPS services, web hosting accounts, DNS, email, SSL, and networking issues * Provision and configure VPS and dedicated servers * Announce and configure IP ranges * Monitor server performance, uptime, and resource utilization * Investigate and resolve server-related issues * Apply system updates, security patches, and routine maintenance * Verify backups and ensure backup procedures are completed successfully * Configure domains, DNS records, email accounts, and hosting-related services * Manage hosting control panels including cPanel/WHM * Investigate abuse reports including spam, phishing, malware, and policy violations * Maintain accurate records of investigations and actions taken * Work closely with Billing, Sales, and Operations teams when required * Participate in incident response during outages and service disruptions * Follow established downtime and escalation procedures Required Skills: Linux Administration * Experience working with Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, AlmaLinux, or similar distributions * Understanding of system logs, services, process management, and troubleshooting Virtualization * Experience with KVM virtualization * SolusVM experience preferred * Virtualizor experience is a plus Networking * Strong understanding of TCP/IP * DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, and firewall configurations * Ability to troubleshoot connectivity and routing issues Web Hosting * cPanel/WHM administration * Shared hosting environments * Email hosting * SSL certificates * DNS zone management * FTP services Security * Firewall management * Malware investigation * Log analysis * Brute-force protection * Basic understanding of DDoS mitigation Monitoring & Backups * Experience with server monitoring tools * Backup management and recovery procedures * Incident monitoring and escalation Customer Support * Excellent written English communication skills * Experience working with ticketing systems * Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to customers Requirements * Previous experience in web hosting, VPS hosting, dedicated servers, or infrastructure support * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities * Ability to work under pressure during outages and critical incidents * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Schedule: Full-Time Position Tuesday to Sunday Monday Off Working Hours: 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM (GMT+4) Please only apply if you are available to consistently work during these hours.
