Tender & Bid Specialist – Solar, Battery & EV Charging Projects (Remote)

About Us: We are a growing renewable energy company based in Australia (Sydney) specialising in: - Solar PV installations - Commercial solar projects - Battery energy storage systems (BESS) - EV charger installations - Energy infrastructure solutions We are expanding our commercial division and looking for an experienced Tender & Bid Specialist to help us identify, prepare, and submit high-quality tender applications that increase our chances of winning projects. This is a remote role with potential for ongoing work. Role Overview: We are looking for someone who has proven experience managing tenders, proposals, and bid submissions — ideally within the solar, renewable energy, electrical, construction, engineering, or infrastructure industries. You will be responsible for finding relevant opportunities, preparing professional submissions, coordinating information, and helping position our company competitively. Responsibilities Research and identify relevant tender opportunities: - Government solar projects - Commercial solar installations - Battery storage projects - EV charging infrastructure - Electrical/construction contracts - Renewable energy opportunities Manage the full tender process: - Review tender requirements - Assess suitability and bid/no-bid decisions - Prepare tender responses - Complete submission documents - Manage deadlines and compliance requirements Write and edit: - Capability statements - Methodologies - Project experience summaries - Safety/environmental responses - Company profiles - Technical responses - Commercial responses Work with our team to gather project information and create strong submissions Maintain a tender pipeline and track upcoming opportunities Required Experience You MUST have: ✅ Previous experience winning or preparing tenders ✅ Experience with construction, engineering, electrical, solar, renewable energy, or infrastructure tenders ✅ Strong written English skills ✅ Ability to understand technical information and present it professionally ✅ Experience using tender portals and submission platforms ✅ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred Experience Experience with Australian tenders is highly preferred, including: - Government procurement processes - Commercial construction tenders - Renewable energy tenders - Solar PV / battery storage projects - EV charging infrastructure Knowledge of Australian compliance requirements, safety documentation, and industry terminology is a major advantage.
