1.0 Scope of Works The subcontractor shall provide a full set of coordinated Electrical Working Drawings for the project, covering Lighting, Small Power, AV, Security and associated containment. All drawings must be produced to a professional, construction‑ready standard and fully coordinated with the architectural, structural and services design information provided. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1.1 Lighting Setting out of all lighting fittings, including emergency lighting Location and coordination of PIRs, sensors, scene‑setting switches and lighting control devices Circuitry, switching arrangements and wiring routes Containment routes sized and referenced All drawings produced to scale with fitting references, legends and schedules 1.2 Small Power & AV Setting out of all small power outlets, floor boxes, grommets, skirting/dado trunking, busbars and wall‑mounted sockets AV outlets, connection points, floor box requirements and interface locations Circuitry, wiring routes and containment All drawings produced to scale with references, legends and schedules 1.3 Security Systems Setting out of all security devices including CCTV cameras, access control readers, door locks, maglocks, break‑glass units and induction loops Wiring routes, containment and interface points All drawings produced to scale with references, legends and schedules 2.0 Deliverables The subcontractor shall provide: Fully coordinated Revit model (native format + IFC) Full set of 2D working drawings in DWG and PDF Updated electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control philosophy where required Lighting, power, containment, AV and security schedules Legends and symbols aligned with the Stage 4 design Builder’s work drawings for all electrical penetrations and openings Coordination drawings showing spatial requirements and containment routes Compliance statement confirming alignment with BS 7671, relevant British Standards and project ERs 3.0 Information to Be Provided by the Client The following information will be issued to the subcontractor prior to commencement: Latest coordinated drawings (architectural and MEP) Stage 4 electrical design drawings and associated legends Preferred manufacturer lists for lighting, containment, power, AV and security equipment Room Data Sheets (where applicable) Fire strategy drawings Details of any existing services to be retained or modified Any client‑specific standards or templates to be followed The subcontractor shall review all information and notify the client of any gaps or inconsistencies before commencing detailed design. 4.0 Programme Requirements The subcontractor shall submit a detailed programme showing: Design commencement date Key coordination milestones Issue dates for draft and final drawing packages Allowance for comments and revisions Final completion date The required completion date for the full drawing package will be confirmed by the client upon award. 5.0 Quality & Coordination Requirements All drawings must be produced in accordance with BS 1192 / ISO 19650 standards All models must be clash‑checked prior to issue All containment routes must be coordinated with ceiling void restrictions, acoustic zones and structural elements All equipment must be coordinated with architectural finishes and mounting heights All deviations from the Stage 4 design must be highlighted and approved prior to incorporation 6.0 Health & Safety The subcontractor shall ensure all designs comply with CDM 2015 duties and shall provide: Designer’s risk assessments Residual risk register Any design‑related mitigation measures 7.0 Tender Return Requirements Tenderers must provide: Lump‑sum price for the full scope Programme and lead‑in time CVs of key design personnel Examples of similar projects Confirmation of software used (Revit version, AutoCAD, etc.)
