Texas Family Law Paralegal / Legal Consultant

Project Overview I am representing myself (pro se) in an active Texas family law matter in Harris County involving child support enforcement and related post-judgment proceedings. I am not looking for courtroom representation. I am looking for an experienced Texas family law paralegal or legal consultant to help me organize, analyze, and prepare my case for filing. The objective is to build a professional, well-organized litigation package that can also be reviewed by counsel as needed. Current Status The case currently involves: * Motion for Enforcement * Order to Appear * Child Support Enforcement * Alleged Arrearages * Pending Special Appearance / Motion to Dismiss * Possible Bill of Review under consideration * Multiple procedural and record-review issues I already have substantial documentation, research, correspondence, and draft pleadings prepared. Scope of Work I need assistance with: * Reviewing and organizing court documents * Reviewing procedural history and timelines * Organizing evidence into exhibit binders * Reviewing draft pleadings for organization and consistency * Preparing Requests for Production * Preparing motions and supporting exhibits * Cross-referencing court filings with supporting evidence * Organizing discovery requests * Creating hearing notebooks * Creating exhibit indexes * Building a complete litigation binder * Identifying missing records that should be obtained from the court or agencies * Assisting with document formatting consistent with Texas court practice Deliverables The goal is to prepare a complete litigation package including: * Master case timeline * Exhibit index * Evidence binders * Draft motions * Discovery package * Hearing notebook * Organized electronic file structure * Filing checklist * Trial/hearing preparation materials Preferred Qualifications * Texas Family Law experience * Texas child support enforcement experience * Bill of Review familiarity (preferred) * Harris County practice experience (preferred) * Strong legal drafting and document organization skills * Experience supporting pro se litigants is a plus Important This project is for litigation support and document preparation only. I am not seeking legal representation through Upwork. The successful candidate should understand the distinction between legal document preparation and legal representation and should be comfortable working alongside me as I continue representing myself.
