Think-Cell -- Consultants
Worldwide
Summary We're looking into the presentation and data-visualization space and want to understand in detail how consultants and analysts actually work in think-cell. What you'll do (5–10 hrs/week to start): Showing us your real workflows in think-cell: how you build a slide from raw Excel data to a finished, client-ready chart — choosing the right chart type (waterfall, Mekko, stacked bar, Gantt, and the rest), structuring the linked datasheet, adding annotations like data labels, difference arrows, CAGR arrows, and connectors, formatting to a house style, and aligning and laying out elements across the slide — plus how you keep charts updated when the underlying data changes and automate the boring parts like agenda slides — and answering questions along the way: why this step, what's the shortcut, where do people go wrong? If you use think-cell regularly and can talk through your process clearly, you're exactly who we're looking for. No prep needed, just your day-to-day expertise. Who you are — any of these backgrounds fits: - Consultant / Strategy Professional (freelance or in-house) — you turn analysis into client- or board-ready slides end to end, fast, under deadline, whatever the deck needs. - Investment Banking / PE / Corporate Finance professional — you build pitch books, deal materials, and board decks, heavy on financial charts like waterfalls, bridges, and CAGR arrows. - Presentation / Deck Specialist (power user) — you produce polished decks all day as part of a graphics or creative-services team (or freelance), know every chart type and annotation, and build the reusable templates and formatting standards everyone else relies on. Must-have: 5+ years of hands-on, near-daily use of think-cell; fluency with the main chart types, Excel data links, the core annotations (data labels, difference and CAGR arrows), and layout and alignment tools; able to articulate why you do what you do, not just click through it. Nice-to-have: experience across more than one of the profiles above; familiarity with advanced chart types (Marimekko/Mekko, Gantt/timeline), agenda automation, the Excel data-link round-trip, and corporate template setup; or other deck-production and charting tools (native PowerPoint charting, Mekko Graphics, UpSlide, or general deck design in Figma / Google Slides).
