Trainer for RCM / Mental Health Billing

**Billing Trainer Needed – Mental Health / Medicaid & Medicare (CST Hours)** We're a licensed mental health nonprofit based in the USA, seeking an experienced billing trainer to train our administrative and clinical support staff on mental health billing practices. While our leaders know how to do billing, this job needs sourced out to someone with more time. We simply don’t have time to train and answer billing questions. **What You'll Be Doing** - Training staff on PPO, Medicaid and Medicare billing for outpatient mental health services (counselors and therapists — not medical/physician billing). - Teaching and guiding claims submission, claims corrections, and denial management workflows - Providing hands-on training or guidance within our EHR/billing platforms — ClaimMD and/or Jane App (familiarity with either is a strong plus; if you're not currently familiar, you must be willing to learn them quickly before training begins) - Creating or reviewing training materials, SOPs, or checklists as needed **Requirements** - Strong working knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare billing for outpatient mental health. - Familiarity with government provided Medicare and Medicaid (HFS) billing platform. - Experience with CPT codes and documentation requirements specific to licensed counselors/therapists (LCPC, LCSW, LPC, etc.) - Advanced/fluent English — written and verbal - Must be available during Chicago business hours (CST/CDT) - Reliable, responsive, and comfortable working with a small nonprofit team on zoom. We meet on zoom, live. You’ll be expect to also meet us, live.
