Twilio + Zapier/Make.com SMS Automation

We're looking for an experienced automation specialist to build an end-to-end SMS appointment reminder and rebooking system for a dental clinic, using Twilio for messaging and Zapier or Make.com for workflow automation. What we need: Data Import — Automatically import appointment data from CSV files into Google Sheets (acting as our appointment database). Automated SMS Reminders — Send SMS reminders via Twilio at two intervals: 48 hours and 24 hours before each appointment. Two-Way SMS Handling — Capture and process patient replies ("YES" to confirm, "NO" to cancel) in real time, and update the Google Sheet accordingly. Cancellation & Waitlist Management — When a patient cancels, automatically trigger a notification to the next patient(s) on a prioritized waiting list to offer the freed slot. Logging & Reporting — Track all SMS interactions (sent, delivered, replied, confirmed, cancelled) for reporting on no-show rates and scheduling performance. Ideal skills & experience: Strong hands-on experience with Twilio (SMS API, webhooks, two-way messaging) Proficiency in Zapier and/or Make.com (Integromat) for multi-step workflows Google Sheets API / Apps Script experience Experience building appointment reminder or CRM-style automation systems (healthcare/dental a plus) Ability to design clean, scalable, error-handled workflows Good communication — we'll need documentation on how the system works
