Unity Environment Artist / Procedural Level Designer — Co-op Survival Game (URP, Low-Poly)

Summary

We're building an indie 1–4 player co-op survival game (the "friendslop" genre, think Lethal Company / PEAK) set in an endless, procedurally generated frozen valley. First-person, low-poly stylized, built in Unity 6 / URP. We already have a working single-player prototype with the core gameplay coded, survival loop, inventory, monsters, day/night, and a seeded procedural map generator. What we need now is someone to make the world itself look and feel great, not empty. What we need help with: Design + build the procedural "generic scenario", the repeatable map template and the biome/zone layout + rules the generator assembles every run (a snowy valley ringed by mountains, with distinct zones: forest, mine, frozen lake, open wastes, a dark interior). Define what's authored vs. what's randomized, and make a random map read as intentional. Source & curate the assets, find/assemble the right packs for the missing categories (trees, buildings, props, snow/ice set dressing) in a matching low-poly style. We're open to free/CC0 (Quaternius, KayKit, Kenney) and paid (Synty, PolyQuest). Integrate them cleanly: URP materials, prefabs, colliders, sensible scale/LODs. Build the persistent "anchor" areas, the hand-authored locations that must exist in every generated map (central camp/fire, per-zone landmarks/set-pieces, an enterable mine) wired into our seeded generator so they spawn reliably and blend with the random terrain around them. You're a great fit if you have Unity experience (Unity 6 / URP a plus) Real procedural / runtime level generation experience (DunGen, seeded generators, modular kit assembly, or similar) Environment art / kitbashing skill and a good eye for stylized composition (turning a flat scatter into a believable world) Comfort finding, evaluating, and integrating asset packs (and license-aware)
