Summary

Are you a skilled editor looking for long-term, consistent work with an established company, where every asset, from footage to sound to motion graphics, is handed to you, so you can skip the sourcing grind and focus purely on the edit? About Us Established in 2014, we're a digital media publishing company operating a portfolio of successful multi-channel brands. Our newest venture is a premium, faceless YouTube documentary channel focused exclusively on tennis history, iconic rivalries and the deep-dive narratives surrounding tennis via cinematically polished visual stories. Role Overview & Creative Fit We are seeking a talented Video Editor who doesn't just cut clips together but treats their editing like an art. An individual with an exceptional eye for detail and an intuitive understanding of pacing, structure and rhythmic flow. You should be well-versed in documentary editing, or close to it. We are looking for something like this: https://www.youtube.com/@a.c.e.v.x Key Responsibilities - Sports Documentary Editing: Weave archival tennis match footage, interview clips, press conferences, and historical sports photography cohesively. Videos are around 8 to 20 minutes long. - Retention Optimisation: Apply pattern interruptions and visual resets to maximise watch time. - Rhythmic Pacing & Sound Design: Synchronise editing pacing to the provided voiceover. Layer racquet cracks, crowd dynamics and shifting thematic background tracks. We provide sound assets. - Understanding Fair Use Law: You know how to transform content to help tell the story and the guidelines to follow when producing it. - Output Consistency: One video per week. You have dedicated time each week to these tasks. - Weekly Meeting Check-ins: To discuss how you're handling everything and managing tasks. What's in it for You? - Software Agnostic: You are welcome to use Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or Final Cut. We provide a completely universal asset pack so you can execute effortlessly regardless of your preferred editing platform. - Career Growth Opportunities: As a multi-channel media publisher, there are significant opportunities for internal promotion. Exceptional editors quickly step up into Lead Editor, Post-Production Manager, or Channel Creative Director roles as we scale our operations. - Support Structure: If you're someone who likes having a detailed process for how to create each video, to be streamlined and fast, or if you're someone who likes to have a lot of creative freedom to create your own work, we allow for both. - Ongoing, Consistent Work: A steady weekly slot you can plan around. - Flexible Time Off: We know life can get in the way. As long as you keep good communication with us and try to let us know in advance as best you can, we allow staff to take time away when needed. - Assets Provided: We do our absolute best to provide you with everything you need to succeed. You will receive completely edited, clean voiceover, script, footage with timecodes, photos, sound and motion graphics, so you can focus entirely on your craft. We don’t want you to spend much time looking for footage yourself. We just want you to do what you do best. Payment: 70 USD per video, one video per week, paid weekly or fortnightly. Some videos are 8 minutes and others are 20, so if you would prefer to be paid per minute, we are looking at around 6 USD per minute. Selection process: - Please submit your portfolio or examples of your work in your application. - If you are successfully shortlisted, we will set up an online interview to discuss the role and see if it's a good fit. - Then you must also be willing to do a paid 1-minute trial at 7 USD; we will provide you with video, sound and voice assets for the trial. We look forward to hearing from you and having you join the team :)
