Video Editor Needed: 360, FPV and Mavic Drone Footage into Property Videos
Worldwide
THE PROJECT We are a private family retreat property in the Ozarks near Branson, Missouri. We have a library of raw drone footage of the land and we need it turned into a set of finished videos for our website and for advertising. You will sort through all of the raw footage yourself, pull the best material, and build the videos listed below. We are not handing you a shot list of timecodes. Part of this job is watching everything and knowing what is worth keeping. THE FOOTAGE About 4 hours total, raw and unedited, in three formats: - 360 footage. Will need reframing into standard widescreen. You decide the line and the framing. - FPV footage. Fast and close to the ground, will need stabilization so it is watchable on a phone. - Mavic footage. Standard aerials. Delivered to you through a shared Google Drive folder. DELIVERABLES 1. THE WATERFALL BIKE TRAIL, FULL RIDE One longer video of a continuous ride down the mountain bike trail, cut together from the best footage across all cameras, running from the top of the trail all the way down to the waterfall at the bottom. Note: "the waterfall" is the picnic bench area at the bottom of the trail. That is the destination and the video should land there. Target length: 2 to 4 minutes, or whatever the footage supports. Tell us what you think it should be. 2. SHORT TRAIL CLIPS FOR ADVERTISING Four to six short clips pulled from the best moments on the trail. These are for advertising and we will overlay text on them ourselves, so leave clean space in the frame and do not add any text, titles or graphics. Target length: 10 to 20 seconds each. 3. CAMPSITE TOUR One video touring the camping area, for the website. A guest should be able to watch it and understand what the camping area looks like and where it sits on the land. Target length: 60 to 90 seconds. 4, 5 and 6. GLAMPING TENT VIDEOS, ONE PER TENT Three separate videos, one for each tent. These are listing videos, in the style of a real estate walkthrough, because guests will watch them to choose which tent they want to stay in. Each one needs to show the tent clearly, its setting, and what makes it different from the other two. - Tent 4: sits next to the pickleball court - Tent 5: the middle tent - Tent 6: has the tub at the back Target length: 45 to 75 seconds each. 7. GLAMPING FEATURE VIDEO One longer video featuring the glamping tents together, for advertising. This is the mood piece, not the walkthrough. It should make a family want to come. end at the pickelball court or going into the sky so we can add our logo to it at the end of the video Target length: 90 seconds to 2 minutes. 8. B ROLL SELECTS A folder of your best remaining clips, trimmed and organized, that we can use for future advertising. Include anything strong that did not make it into the videos above. Leave out any clip showing the large private home FORMATS AND DELIVERY - Every finished video delivered in 16:9 horizontal for the website, plus a 9:16 vertical cut of the short clips and the two advertising pieces for social. - Color corrected and graded consistently across the whole set so the property looks like one place. - Music bed where appropriate. You must use licensed or royalty free music and tell us the source. Do not use anything that will trigger a copyright claim. Send us two music options on each of the two advertising pieces before you finalize. - No text, no titles, no lower thirds, no logos on anything. We add all of that ourselves. - Keep the large private home out of every shot. It is not part of what we are showing guests. Do not include it in any finished video, and do not include clips where it appears in the background of a wide aerial. - Deliver finished files plus the organized selects folder. WHAT WE PROVIDE - All raw footage - Any music licensing cost, if you recommend a specific track - Notes and one round of revisions per video WHAT YOU PROVIDE - Your own software, storage and 360 reframing workflow - The judgment to find the good material without being told where it is PROCESS AND TIMELINE We are hiring in two steps. Step one, a paid trial. One editor is selected for a short paid test. You will get a sample of the raw footage and produce a 60 second section of the trail ride plus one tent walkthrough. This is paid whether or not we continue. Step two, the full package, awarded as a fixed price contract with milestone payments. Delivery is in two milestones: - September 4 or sooner: the three glamping tent videos and the glamping feature video. - September 10 or sooner: the full trail ride, the short trail clips, the campsite tour, and the b roll selects folder. These dates are firm. Please do not bid unless you can hold them. We are easy to work with, we pay on time, and there is more work coming as the property grows.
