AI Video Editor Needed to Replace Fabric Patterns in Sewing Tutorial Videos
Worldwide
We are looking for an experienced AI video editor or generative video specialist who can modify existing sewing tutorial footage by replacing the original fabric with a new fabric pattern or texture. Project Example The original video may show a person sewing a pair of black trousers. We will provide: The original sewing tutorial video A clear reference image of a different fabric, such as plaid, floral, denim, striped or printed fabric Instructions showing which areas of the video need to be changed The final video should appear as though the trousers were originally made from the fabric shown in our reference image. This is not a simple colour correction task. The new fabric pattern must realistically follow: The movement of the fabric Folds and wrinkles Perspective changes Hands handling the material Cutting and sewing movements Lighting, shadows and highlights The movement of the fabric under the sewing machine Hands, tools, scissors, needles, the sewing machine and the background should remain unchanged. Required Skills We are interested in specialists experienced with tools and techniques such as: Runway Aleph or Runway Edit Studio AI video-to-video editing Generative video editing Fabric or texture replacement Adobe After Effects Motion tracking Rotoscoping and masking Mocha Pro ComfyUI video workflows Video inpainting Reference-image-based video editing You do not need to be a professional seamstress, but you must be able to identify the fabric correctly throughout the sewing process and preserve all important construction details. Initial Test We would like to begin with a short paid test using approximately 10–15 seconds of video. For the test, we will provide: A short section of an existing sewing video A photograph of the replacement fabric A reference showing the areas that should be modified The test result should demonstrate that the new fabric remains visually consistent from frame to frame and does not distort the hands, tools or sewing process. Potential Long-Term Work If the test is successful, this may become ongoing work involving multiple sewing tutorial videos and different fabric designs. The finished videos may be several minutes long, so candidates should be comfortable processing footage in shorter sections and combining the edited sections into one consistent final video. When Applying Please include: Examples of AI-edited existing videos Examples of object, clothing, material or texture replacement The software and workflow you would use Whether you can work from a fabric reference image Your estimated turnaround time for a 10–15 second test Any limitations we should expect when the hands cover or fold the fabric Please do not send examples consisting only of completely AI-generated videos. We specifically need someone who can make precise changes to real, existing footage while preserving the original movements and actions.
