Video Editor for Celebrity Compilation Channel — Storytelling & Retention Focused

I'm looking for an experienced video editor to make one or two compilation videos per week for my celebrity YouTube channel, ongoing. Read this before applying: only apply if you can show a portfolio that proves you understand storytelling. That is the whole job. I need to see that you know how to structure a video, pick the right moments, put them in the right order, build a strong hook, and control energy, emotion, tone and pacing across the whole edit. If you can't show that in your work, this role will be hard for you. WHAT THE JOB IS - One to two videos per week, every week - Celebrity compilation videos built from clips I provide - Your job is the edit: taking a pile of clips and turning it into something that keeps people watching to the end WHAT MATTERS MOST - Storytelling and structure. What moment opens the video, what order everything runs in, where the payoff lands. - Hooks. The first 15 seconds decide whether the video lives or dies. Show me you can build one. - Energy, emotion, tone and pacing. Knowing when to speed up, when to breathe, when to let a moment sit. - A real sense for which moments are strong and which are filler. WHAT I CAN TEACH YOU - My specific editing style. Don't worry about matching a look. I'm an experienced editor myself and I'll train you on the style. - So the technical side is learnable. The storytelling instinct is not, which is why the portfolio matters more than anything else. TECHNICAL - Experience in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro - Basic After Effects (just the fundamentals) BUDGET - Roughly $100 to $250 per video, depending on the video length and your skill level TO APPLY Send me your best compilation edit, or two or three pieces that show your range.
