Video Editor for Wildlife Conservation Content (Ongoing Monthly Work)

Ziwa Rhino & Wildlife Ranch is Uganda's only wild rhino reintroduction site. We're looking for a reliable freelance editor for ongoing monthly content - real conservation work, real animals, real stories. Monthly volume: 20 short-form videos (Reels/TikTok, under 60s) — fast cuts, captions, light motion graphics 4 podcast episodes (30-60 min) — clean audio/video sync, chapters, basic color 2 long-form pieces (5-15 min) — documentary-style edits covering rhino interventions/operations (translocations, health checks, dehorning) What we need: Fast, punchy pacing for short-form — we care about hooks and shareability, not just clean cuts Comfortable with wildlife/nature or documentary-style footage Reliable turnaround on a recurring monthly schedule Good communication — you'll be working from raw footage with light direction, so judgment matters How this works: Paid per deliverable (not hourly). We're looking for one editor to handle the full monthly slate consistently, not a one-off gig. Starting with a small paid trial (one short-form batch) before committing to the ongoing relationship.
