Video game NPC behavior and implementation. Unrel Engine 5 Hello, I am currently looking for someone experienced to either recreate or significantly improve the NPC system in my game. At the moment, the NPCs have only basic behavior. I am looking for either: * Someone capable of rebuilding the NPC system according to my requirements. * Or someone able to improve the existing system enough to meet my expectations. If you have played Yandere Simulator, I am aiming for a similar NPC system, with more or less random and believable daily behaviors. The intended daily loop is: * Arrive at school. * Remove shoes at designated locations (each NPC should have an assigned slot to prevent everyone gathering in the same place). * Go to class while correctly using the classroom seating system already present in the game. * Attend class. * Lunch break. * Return to class. * Free time. * End of the school day. Most of these systems already exist, and the required animations are already implemented. Each NPC is assigned to a specific seat. However, the current system contains numerous bugs and requires significant improvements. I would also like to diversify NPC behaviors. Having every NPC constantly going to the same location does not feel realistic. Small groups of NPCs should have different routines and habits throughout the day. An important point is that every NPC will eventually be interactable by the player through the game's kill and interaction systems, which are currently being developed. Current issues include: * NPCs refusing to pass through doors even when collisions and navigation have been configured. * NPCs stopping in front of doors and getting stuck. * NPC scale changing unexpectedly when sitting on chairs. * Various behavior and pathfinding inconsistencies. What I am looking for: * Bug fixing. * More varied and believable NPC behavior. * Better pathfinding and navigation. * A more robust and scalable NPC system. Optionally, if you are able to add and configure all NPCs yourself, that would be highly appreciated. They do not all need to be completely unique. As mentioned earlier, creating different groups of NPCs with shared behaviors would be sufficient for now. I am looking for someone efficient and competent who can complete this task within a reasonable timeframe. I am not looking for a project that takes six months to complete.
