# Vietnam-Based Factory Sourcing Specialist - Find and Contact Furniture Manufacturers We are an established US online furniture retailer looking for an experienced, resourceful sourcing specialist to identify and establish direct contact with a small number of furniture manufacturers in Asia. We already have a list of nine potential factories identified through public import records: * Six factories in Vietnam * Two factories in Malaysia * One factory in China For most factories, we currently have only the company name, approximate address and limited shipment information. ## Objective Your objective is to verify each factory, identify the correct export-sales contact and establish a direct line of communication between the factory and our company. This is not a general supplier-search project. We have already identified the potential factories. We need someone who is skilled at finding and reaching difficult-to-contact manufacturers. ## Responsibilities For each factory, you will: 1. Verify the factory’s identity, legal name, local-language name and address. 2. Determine whether it is an actual manufacturer, trading company or related export entity. 3. Find its current: * Website * Telephone numbers * General email addresses * Direct employee email addresses * LinkedIn profiles * Facebook or other social-media pages * Zalo, WhatsApp or WeChat contacts 4. Identify a relevant decision-maker, preferably: * Export Sales Manager * International Sales Manager * Business Development Manager * General Manager * Factory owner 5. Contact the factory using appropriate local channels, including telephone where necessary. 6. Confirm: * Whether the company manufactures furniture * Its main product categories * Whether it exports to the United States * Whether it offers OEM or ODM production * Who should receive product inquiries * Whether it is interested in discussing cooperation with an established US furniture retailer 7. Introduce the appropriate factory contact to our team or hand over the active conversation. 8. Maintain a detailed and accurate contact and outreach tracker. ## Required deliverable A completed spreadsheet containing, where available: * Factory name supplied by us * Verified legal company name * Local-language company name * Factory or company address * Company-registration information * Website * General email * Telephone number * Contact person’s name * Contact person’s position * Direct email * Mobile number * Zalo, WhatsApp or WeChat details * LinkedIn or other professional profile * Sources used to verify each contact * Communication channels attempted * Dates of all contact attempts * Current response status * Summary of the factory’s capabilities * Recommended next action * Confidence rating for the information We expect at least two independently identified contact channels per factory wherever such information is available. Any screenshots, replies or supporting evidence should be included in the project folder or tracker. ## Required experience The ideal candidate: * Is based in Vietnam, preferably Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi * Speaks native or fluent Vietnamese * Speaks and writes professional English * Has sourcing, procurement or manufacturing experience * Can make local telephone calls to Vietnamese factories * Understands how Vietnamese manufacturers and export companies are registered and structured * Has experience contacting export-oriented factories * Is comfortable using Zalo, WhatsApp, WeChat, LinkedIn and local business directories * Is persistent without being unprofessional * Provides sources and does not guess or fabricate contact information Experience with furniture, home furnishings, woodworking, stone, marble, metal furniture or upholstered furniture is strongly preferred. ## Important instructions The factory list and all related information are confidential. Do not mention the competitor associated with the shipment records. Do not tell factories that they were identified through ImportYeti or competitor import records. Do not contact any factory until we have approved the initial outreach message. All research and communications completed for this project will belong to the client. ## Project structure This is a fixed-price, one-time project expected to take approximately two to three weeks. Milestone 1 will cover factory verification, contact research and preparation of the outreach plan. Milestone 2 will cover outreach, follow-up and handover of the resulting conversations.
