Virtual Assistant / Business Development Administrator Location: Remote Type: Part-Time / Freelance (with potential to grow) Organisation: The-Vyne Health Insights & Black Sciensus CIC About Us The-Vyne Health Insights is a specialist consultancy supporting international pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies, CROs, and medical device organisations with regulatory strategy, regulatory approvals (MHRA, EMA, FDA), market access, health economics, and commercial reimbursement pathways. Black Sciensus CIC is a health education platform dedicated to improving health literacy within Black and African minority communities through evidence-based health information, articles, educational campaigns, and community engagement. The Role We are seeking a proactive and organised Virtual Assistant / Business Development Administrator to support both organisations in client acquisition, outreach, relationship building, and day-to-day administrative activities. The ideal candidate will be confident using LinkedIn, email outreach, and online research tools to identify and engage potential clients and partners. Key Responsibilities The-Vyne Health Insights Identify and research pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, and medical device companies that may require regulatory affairs and market access support. Build targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn and other databases. Conduct LinkedIn outreach and connection campaigns. Support cold email campaigns and follow-up activities. Schedule meetings and maintain CRM records. Monitor industry news, funding announcements, and clinical development pipelines to identify potential business opportunities. Support marketing and thought leadership activities. Black Sciensus CIC Contact universities, healthcare organisations, charities, NHS bodies, and community groups regarding partnership opportunities. Support sponsorship, advertising, and revenue generation activities. Assist with website administration and content coordination. Help identify opportunities for grants, collaborations, and organisational growth. Support social media and stakeholder engagement activities. Essential Requirements Previous experience as a Virtual Assistant, Business Development Assistant, Sales Administrator, or similar role. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with LinkedIn outreach and email marketing. Excellent organisational and administrative skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Strong internet research skills. Desirable Requirements Previous experience working within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, CROs, healthcare consulting, medical devices, or life sciences. Understanding of regulatory affairs, clinical development, market access, or healthcare commercialisation. Experience using CRM systems and lead generation tools. Experience supporting charities, community organisations, or educational platforms. What Success Looks Like Consistent generation of qualified leads and business opportunities. Growth in strategic partnerships and client meetings. Effective administration and coordination across both organisations. Increased visibility and engagement through LinkedIn and outreach activities.
