Virtual Assistant / Cold Caller to Recruit Small Businesses for Podcast

We are looking for a confident and personable virtual assistant to make outbound calls to small-business owners and invite them to participate in an upcoming episode of Launch Lab. Launch Lab is a podcast that works with real businesses experiencing challenges with their websites, branding, lead generation, marketing, or overall digital presence. Selected businesses will receive professional marketing help at no cost. In exchange, the business must be willing to appear on the show, discuss its challenges, and allow us to document the improvement process. What Participating Businesses May Receive Depending on the needs of the business, our team may provide: A free review of its current marketing stack A website, branding, social media, CRM, advertising, and lead-generation audit Free website updates and improvements A free logo refresh or redesign Practical marketing recommendations Exposure through the podcast and related promotional content There is no cost for the business to participate. Your Responsibilities Make outbound calls to businesses using lead lists we provide Speak directly with business owners and decision-makers Clearly explain the podcast opportunity and its benefits Ask qualifying questions about the business and its current marketing challenges Identify businesses that would be a strong fit for the show Schedule qualified businesses for a follow-up conversation with our team Follow up with interested businesses by phone or email Accurately track calls, responses, notes, follow-ups, and appointments Follow a provided call script while keeping conversations natural and personable Required Qualifications Must have a clear, easy-to-understand English-speaking voice Must be comfortable making cold calls to U.S.-based businesses Strong English pronunciation, listening skills, and phone etiquette Ability to hold natural conversations with business owners Must be able to explain the offer confidently without sounding overly scripted Comfortable handling questions, initial hesitation, and basic objections Reliable, organized, and consistent with follow-up Able to maintain accurate records of outreach activity Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Cold calling Appointment setting Lead generation Business-to-business outreach Virtual assistance Podcast guest recruitment Marketing or website services Speaking with small-business owners This is not a high-pressure sales position. Your goal is to identify businesses that genuinely need help, explain the opportunity clearly, and schedule interested candidates for a conversation with our team. What We Will Provide Business lead lists A calling script and talking points Information about Launch Lab and the participation offer Qualifying questions A system for tracking calls and follow-ups Guidance on which businesses are the best fit Support for questions that come up during outreach When Applying Please include the following with your proposal: A summary of your cold-calling or appointment-setting experience A short voice or video recording introducing yourself The number of outbound calls you can comfortably make each day Your availability and time zone Any experience working with U.S.-based small businesses Any experience recruiting podcast guests or discussing marketing services Applications without a voice or video recording will not be considered.
