Summary Virtual Assistant for Home Staging, Styling and Furniture business (Long-Term Role) We are looking for a reliable Virtual Assistant to support our growing décor, home staging and styling business. This is a long-term role for someone who is proactive, organised, and comfortable managing day-to-day operational tasks across different work streams. Key Responsibilities 1. Customer & Quotation Management Follow up with customers for quotation approvals and invoice confirmations Prepare and track quotes, invoices, and follow-up reminders Maintain clear communication logs and timelines 2. Social Media Assistance Help schedule and post content on Instagram and Facebook Coordinate with the team for content material and captions Basic understanding of social media posting tools preferred 3. Excel & Data Entry Work Maintain and edit company data sheets using Excel/Google Sheets Update records on our internal business platform Perform simple data cleaning and formatting tasks 4. Coordination & Follow-Up Calls Make follow-up calls to local logistics partners, contractors, and team members Track task completion and send reminders where necessary 5. Posting Jobs & Ads Create and manage job/advert listings on Gumtree and Facebook Marketplace Respond to basic inquiries related to these postings 6. Meetings & Communication Attend daily/weekly work priority meetings Share quick status updates and action items Coordinate with management for new tasks 7. General Administrative Support Track project jobs from start to completion Help update warehouse inventory records (virtual tracking only) Assist with other admin tasks as needed Requirements Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good organisational and time-management skills Comfortable making phone calls when required Experience with Excel/Google Sheets Familiarity with social media posting (Instagram/Facebook) Prior VA experience Basic Canva or social media editing experience Work Hours Flexible, but must be available for daily check-ins (Melbourne AEST timezone) Approx. 8 hours per week (can increase based on performance) If this sounds like you, please apply with: - Your relevant experience - Expected hourly rate - $5 per hour.
