Virtual Assistant for a Growing Airbnb Cleaning Company (Long-Term) I'm looking for a reliable, proactive Virtual Assistant to help me run my growing Airbnb cleaning business. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organised, has exceptional attention to detail, communicates confidently, and enjoys helping operations run smoothly behind the scenes. Initially, the role will be around 4–8 hours per week, mainly during property turnover times, with the opportunity to grow into a regular, long-term position as the business expands. Your Responsibilities Supporting the Cleaning Team - Be the main point of contact for cleaners during their shifts. - Answer questions and provide guidance when issues arise. - Reassure cleaners and help them solve day-to-day problems without needing me to step in. - Examples include: - The guest is still in the property. - The key isn't in the key safe. - They can't gain access. - They're unsure how to proceed. - Escalate only the issues that genuinely require my attention. Quality Control One of the most important parts of this role is checking the quality of every clean. Our cleaners send before and after photos for each property. You'll carefully review the after photos to make sure the cleaning and presentation meet our very high standards before the cleaner leaves. You'll be expected to notice even the smallest details, for example: - Cushions arranged neatly. - Beds perfectly made. - Towels folded consistently. - Kettle handle positioned neatly. - Chairs aligned. - Curtains or blinds straight. - Remotes placed neatly. - Kitchen and bathroom presented beautifully. - No clutter or personal items left out. - Overall presentation looking clean, fresh, and ready for the next guest. If anything isn't right, you'll confidently ask the cleaner to correct it before they leave. Admin Support - Update Google Sheets and trackers. - Help organise day-to-day operations. - Learn and use different software and apps. - Assist with general admin tasks as the business grows. - Help improve processes where possible. What I'm Looking For Ideally, I'd like to work with a woman who has a fantastic eye for detail and takes real pride in maintaining high standards. You should be: - Extremely organised. - Calm under pressure. - Friendly, professional, and approachable. - Proactive and able to work independently. - Excellent at written English. - Confident communicating with cleaners and clients when needed. - Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software. - Experienced using Google Sheets or Excel. - Reliable and responsive during agreed working hours. - Someone who genuinely notices the little things that others often miss. Experience Experience working with Airbnb cleaning companies, short-term rental businesses, hotels, hospitality, or housekeeping is highly desirable. You should understand: - What a five-star clean looks like. - The importance of presentation and staging. - Fast-paced cleaning schedules. - The importance of excellent communication and quick problem-solving.
