Virtual Assistant for New Jersey Law Firm

We are a growing New Jersey-based law firm focused on estate planning, asset protection, and family law. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support client intake, scheduling, administrative workflows, and Client Development which includes outreach to prospective clients This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is organized, responsive, and comfortable communicating professionally with prospective clients. RESPONSIBILITIES: Respond to new client inquiries (email, website, text) using templates Schedule consultations and manage the attorney's calendar Conduct initial client intake (collect basic information, no legal advice) Organize and update client data in CRM (LEAP) Follow up with leads who have not scheduled consultations (Business Development) Format documents and maintain digital files Assist with light administrative tasks as needed Post content to Law Firm Marketing & Media Platforms IMPORTANT NOTE: This Role does involves Business development services in outreach to prospective clients and Posting content on social media feeds built for the Law firm. The Role does NOT involve providing legal advice. All communication will follow firm-provided scripts and guidelines. REQUIREMENTS: Excellent written and spoken English Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to respond quickly during agreed working hours Experience with administrative support, customer service, or intake coordination Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, Calendly, CRM - Lawmatics, LEAP Ability to follow structured processes and scripts PREFERRED (Not Required): Experience working with law firms or professional services Familiarity with CRM systems Experience handling client intake or appointment setting WORKING HOURS: Part-time to start (10–20 hours/week) Must have some overlap with U.S. Eastern Time COMPENSATION: Competitive hourly rate based on experience Opportunity for increased hours and long-term role based on performance TO APPLY: Please include the following: 1.
