AI Voice Agent and Automation Developer

I run an AI automation consulting agency (Covant Solutions) focused on home service contractors — remodeling companies and roofers in the Charlotte/Gastonia, NC area. I own all client relationships and sales. Looking for a skilled developer as an ongoing technical partner. WHAT YOU'LL BUILD: - AI receptionist: inbound call handling 24/7, FAQ responses, appointment booking into client calendar, missed-call text recovery - Speed-to-lead agent: form submitted → AI calls the lead within 60 seconds, qualifies them, books the estimate into GHL STACK REQUIRED: - Voice AI: Vapi or Retell AI - CRM: GoHighLevel (sub-account setup, pipelines, calendar integration) - Automation: n8n or Make.com - SMS/Twilio for text follow-up - A2P SMS registration experience is a plus HOW IT WORKS: - I close the client and own the relationship entirely - We do a three-way scoping call (you handle technical requirements only — typically a 30-minute call per new client, happens once per project before build begins) - You build based on a signed Statement of Work - 50% of build fee + 20% of client's monthly retainer per live agent (clients typically pay $800–$1,500/month, so your share per client runs $160–$300/month recurring) - Work starts only after client pays FIRST DELIVERABLE: A demo AI receptionist for a fictional remodeling contractor — something I can show live on sales calls. This is our starting point before any real client builds. LOOKING FOR: - Clear communicator who can talk to non-technical business owners on scoping calls - Long-term partner as I grow to 10+ contractor clients - White-label arrangement — you build under Covant Solutions brand - Comfortable working async; US Eastern time zone overlap preferred (EST) for occasional client calls Apply with examples of AI receptionist or voice agent builds, especially anything in home services or contracting.
