Webflow Developer: Port a Finished 10-Page Design (Copy + Spec Complete, 10-Day Deadline)
Worldwide
START YOUR PROPOSAL WITH THE WORD "LEDGER" so I know you read this. We're a marketplace growth agency in Phoenix. We manage Amazon, Walmart, and TikTok Shop for consumer brands, and we're replacing our own website. We are not asking you to design it, write it, or figure out what it should say. Here's what's already done: - All 10 pages designed and built as a working HTML prototype you can open in a browser - Every word of copy written and approved - Brand system locked: exact hex codes, three Google Fonts, type scale - Every JSON-LD schema block written and ready to paste - robots.txt, llms.txt, sitemap structure, meta titles and descriptions - The full 301 redirect map from our old URLs - A written spec covering the CMS collections, Core Web Vitals targets, and form wiring Your job is to build it in Webflow, correctly, in 10 days. === SCOPE === 1. Build 10 static pages in Webflow, matching the approved HTML prototype 2. Set up the global style system: 3 fonts, 4 brand colors, the type scale 3. Build 5 CMS collections (glossary, FAQs, case studies, insights, team) with one template page each. They'll launch mostly empty. We need the structure right so our non-technical team can publish to them afterward without a developer. 4. Paste in the JSON-LD blocks we supply, and validate every one at validator.schema.org 5. Enter all meta titles and descriptions 6. Enter the 301 redirects we supply 7. Wire the contact form to a Slack webhook and an email notification 8. Upload robots.txt and llms.txt, enable the sitemap 9. Hit Core Web Vitals on throttled mobile: LCP under 2.5s, INP under 200ms, CLS under 0.1 10. Responsive pass at 375px, 768px, 1440px. No horizontal page scroll. 11. Accessibility: correct heading hierarchy, visible keyboard focus states, real alt text, 4.5:1 minimum contrast on body text Build it with Finsweet Client-First class naming. Not negotiable. Our marketing team maintains this site after you hand it over, and we're not inheriting a class list only you can read. Do not start from a marketplace template. The design is already done and a template would fight it. Estimated 20 to 25 hours for someone who knows Webflow well. === WHAT WE'RE NOT ASKING FOR === No design work. No copywriting. No strategy. No "let me suggest a different approach to the homepage." The design is approved and the copy is signed off. If you want a project where you shape the creative direction, this isn't it, and you'll be happier somewhere else. === WHO THIS IS FOR === You've built at least 5 production Webflow sites, you use CMS collections as a matter of course rather than hard-coding repeated pages, and you've pasted custom JSON-LD into a page head before without asking what it is. You reply to messages within a business day. You hit dates. When something in the spec is wrong or unclear, you ask a specific question instead of guessing or going quiet. Bonus, not required: if you also work in React / TanStack Start / Vite, mention it. There's a small chance we build this on a code stack instead of Webflow, and we'd rather hire one person either way. === BUDGET AND MILESTONES === $2,400 fixed price, released in three milestones: - $400 — paid test task, before we hire (details below). Paid whether or not we move forward. - $1,200 — all 10 pages built, CMS collections created, responsive pass done - $800 — schema validated, redirects entered, form wired, Core Web Vitals hit, site published === THE PAID TEST TASK === We're not hiring off a portfolio. Shortlisted candidates get $400 for two things, roughly 4 hours total. Paid regardless of outcome, and if we hire you it counts as milestone one. Part A: build ONE page from the prototype in Webflow, with its schema block pasted in and validated. Part B: design and build a glossary template page that is NOT in the prototype, using only our existing style system. No mockup, no direction from us. We want to see whether you can extend a design system on your own. It tells us more in four hours than a week of interviews, and it tells you whether you actually want to work with us. === AFTER THIS PROJECT === We'd rather find one person we keep working with than run this hire again. After launch there's ongoing work: calculator pages, new CMS templates, landing pages, technical maintenance. Realistically 5 to 15 hours a month, lumpy, on an hourly on-call basis rather than a retainer. No obligation on either side and this project stands on its own. But if you're open to that, say so in your proposal. === TIMELINE === Kickoff within 2 business days of hire. Site published 10 business days after that. This deadline is real and it is not moving. === IN YOUR PROPOSAL === Skip the cover letter template. Four things, briefly: 1. The word LEDGER as your first word 2. Two live Webflow sites you built, with a sentence on what was hard about each 3. How you'd set up a CMS collection so a non-technical marketing person can publish a new glossary page without touching Webflow Designer 4. Your honest estimate of hours for the scope above, and one thing in it you think we've underestimated Proposals that answer #3 and #4 with something specific get read first. Everything else gets archived.
