Website Designer & Developer for Cafe

We're seeking an experienced website designer and developer to craft a modern, elevated website for Sip Cafe, an independent cafe and growing hospitality/lifestyle brand in Honolulu, Hawaii. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio in web design and development, with a focus on creating visually appealing and functional websites. Experience with cafe or lifestyle brands is a plus. Scope of work: We're looking for someone who can help with both website design and development, including: -Custom website design align with our existing branding -Mobile first/responsive design -Homepage -About/Our Story -Cafe Menu -Catering & Mobile Bar Services -Catering inquiry and contact form -Location, hours & contact information -Photo/gallery integration -Social Media integration -Email/Newsletter sign up -Basic SEO set up -Future-ready Ecommerce functionality for merchandise, matcha, coffee, and other retail products -Easy back end editing so our team can update photos, menu information, copy, etc. ourselves We are open to Shopify, Squarespace, Webflow or other recommended platform, but would like the developer to explain why they believe their recommended platform is the best fit for the bsuiness. DESIGN DIRECTION: Our aesthetic is: Modern / Minimal / Editorial / Elevated / Hospitality Focused We prefer clean typography, strong photography, thoughtful whitespace, subtle movement/animation, and a premium but approachable feel. We do not want a generic restaurant template or an overly done corporate-looking website. We already have an established visual identity, photography, logo, brand assets, and social media presence that can be used as creative direction.
