Website Redesign

RIE Website Redesign www.rie.org Resources for Infant Educarers (RIE), a nonprofit serving parents and early-childhood professionals, is seeking a web expert to help redesign and simplify our website. This is not intended to be a visual redesign. The priority is to build a clear, easy-to-navigate, straightforward-to-manage site that non-technical staff can update. Project Goals Clearly communicate who RIE is and what the Educaring Approach offers. Provide clear pathways for parents, professionals, donors, and those seeking RIE Associates. Improve access to programs with direct class/workshop/event registration. Add a public events calendar. Streamline administration so staff can update content without developer support. Required Functionality E-commerce for books and streaming content. Donations (one-time and recurring). Member login area for viewing purchased streaming content. Desired Enhancements Direct class registration (replacing the manual inquiry process). Event registration. Lead generation and email capture. A "Find a RIE Associate" / local resources directory. Membership area for RIE Associates. Platform We currently use WordPress but are open to simplifying the existing build, or migrating to a platform better suited for long-term sustainability (e.g. Squarespace, Wix). What We're Looking For A designer/developer who can evaluate our current site and recommend the best platform/architecture, understand nonprofit needs and user-centric design, build a streamlined and intuitive site structure, and ensure non-technical staff can manage updates independently.
