Double Puc Café Website Redesign & Online Ordering Platform Project Overview Redesign the Double Puc Café website to create a modern, premium digital experience that better reflects our brand while significantly improving our ability to generate catering enquiries and online orders. The new website should combine an engaging marketing website with a fully integrated e-commerce platform, allowing customers to order catering online whilst eliminating manual administration through integration with our ERP/operations systems. The website should be built with scalability in mind, supporting future growth in both café operations and corporate catering. Primary Objectives * Create a premium, modern website that showcases the Double Puc brand. * Increase enquiries and online catering orders. * Improve SEO performance for Bristol cafés, office catering and corporate catering. * Provide a frictionless customer journey from discovery through to checkout. * Automate order processing to minimise manual administration. * Create a platform that is easy for our team to update and maintain. Website Requirements Marketing Website * Modern, mobile-first design. * Fast loading. * Strong photography and food imagery. * Clear explanation of our cafés, catering and workplace hospitality services. * Location pages for each café. * Corporate catering landing pages. * Blog/news capability. * Sustainability and B Corp content. * Customer testimonials and case studies. * Simple CMS for updating content. Online Ordering Ideally built on Shopify (or an equivalent platform) if it offers the best integration and customer experience. Customers should be able to: * Browse catering menus. * Filter by dietary requirements. * Choose delivery date and time. * Select delivery location. * Add notes. * Pay online. * Receive automatic confirmations. ERP Integration A key requirement is that online orders flow directly into our ERP/operations platform without manual re-keying. The workflow should be: 1. Customer places an order. 2. Payment is authorised. 3. Order is held in a “Pending Confirmation” state. 4. ERP validates operational capacity, delivery availability and stock. 5. Staff approve or reject the order. 6. Customer receives confirmation or alternative options. 7. Approved orders automatically populate production schedules, delivery schedules and invoices. The objective is zero manual transcription of order information. Delivery Logic Unlike national e-commerce businesses, we only deliver within defined geographic areas. The ordering platform should: * Restrict ordering by postcode. * Support multiple delivery zones. * Allow different minimum order values by area. * Apply different delivery charges by zone. * Allow collection where appropriate. * Prevent checkout outside our delivery radius. Future enhancements could include dynamic delivery zones based on travel time. SEO Requirements The new site should be designed around organic search growth.
