Windows Server & Active Directory Engineer – Domain Controller Migration and Firewall Management

We are seeking an experienced Windows Server and Active Directory Engineer to handle domain controller migration, demotion, and retirement, along with firewall management for our enterprise environment. The scope of work includes: Planning and executing Domain Controller migrations and retirement of legacy servers Managing DNS, DHCP, FSMO roles, SYSVOL, replication, and Group Policy Configuring and syncing Azure AD Connect or Microsoft Entra Connect Managing authentication via LDAP, RADIUS, SSL VPN, and SSO Handling file servers, service accounts, failover, replication, backup, and recovery Planning migration from Windows Server 2012 R2 and ensuring minimal downtime Preparing clear technical documentation and change management plans Additionally, experience with WatchGuard, Fortinet, SonicWall, or similar firewalls is helpful for network security management. This is a hands-on role requiring strong expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and enterprise-grade network security.
