Windows / SharePoint / OneDrive Specialist — Fix File Path Length Issue We're using SharePoint and OneDrive (Microsoft 365) across a Windows environment. We're hitting the Windows file path length limit: files open fine in SharePoint online, but fail to open locally in applications like Word, Excel, Bluebeam and Adobe Acrobat because our folder paths are too long. We've already confirmed the basics: enabling the Windows long-path registry setting helps browsers but not Office or Bluebeam (these apps ignore it and apply their own ~218–260 character limit). We understand the workarounds at a high level (OneDrive shortcuts, shortening folder names, mapped drives), but we want an expert to help us implement the right solution properly and at scale across the team.
