Senior WordPress/WooCommerce Developer (Peptide Industry Experience Preferred) We are building a premium peptide e-commerce platform and are looking for an experienced WordPress/WooCommerce developer or development team to build a custom website and backend operating system. This is not a standard WooCommerce store. We are looking for someone who has experience building advanced e-commerce systems, preferably within the peptide, supplement, pharmaceutical, wellness, or other regulated health industries. Important We do not want our business dependent on third-party SaaS platforms that own our customer data or could disable critical business functions. Our goal is to own: * Our website * Our database * Our customer information * Our inventory * Our order history * Our business logic * Our hosting * Our codebase We want a system that is modular, where external services can be replaced without affecting the core business. Required Experience Please only apply if you have experience building custom WordPress/WooCommerce platforms that include some or all of the following: * WooCommerce * Custom plugin development * Inventory management * Batch and lot tracking * Shipping automation * Order fulfillment * Customer portals * CRM integrations * API integrations * Payment gateway integrations * Role-based admin dashboards * Security hardening * High-performance WordPress optimization Experience in the peptide, supplement, pharmaceutical, telehealth, or medical industries is highly preferred. Website Requirements We are building a premium luxury brand with an emphasis on education, transparency, and customer experience. The website will include: * Premium WooCommerce storefront * Product filtering * Advanced product pages * FAQs * Educational content * Research library * AI-powered customer assistant * Customer accounts * Order history * Shipment tracking * Batch lookup * COA downloads * Membership pricing * Reviews * Referral program Backend Requirements We want a clean internal operating system that includes: * Inventory management * Purchase orders * Product costs * Stock levels * Batch numbers * Expiration tracking * Shipping workflow * Packing checklists * Tracking integration * Customer management * Reporting * Sales analytics * Profit reporting * Audit logs * User permissions The backend should be intuitive enough that staff can learn it quickly. What We Do NOT Want We are intentionally avoiding platforms where our core business depends entirely on third-party software. We do not want a system that requires multiple SaaS subscriptions to operate or stores our primary customer database outside of our own infrastructure.
