WordPress Developer Needed (Healthcare Experience Preferred) We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to build a new website from the ground up for a healthcare-related interior design company. We already have a designer creating the website structure, layout, and visual direction, so we are looking for a developer who can take the approved designs and build the site in WordPress. This is primarily a development role, not a design role. Timeline: We are looking for someone who can start within the next 2 weeks and complete the initial website build within approximately 1 week of project kickoff. Requirements -Extensive WordPress development experience -Experience building WordPress websites from scratch -Experience customizing themes, plugins, and WordPress functionality -Experience developing or modifying WordPress extensions/plugins Healthcare, medical, wellness, or professional services website experience preferred -Strong understanding of website performance, SEO, security, and mobile responsiveness We are looking for someone who understands modern SEO and AI search optimization. Experience building websites that are structured for strong visibility in Google search, AI search tools, and large language model search platforms (e.g. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) would be highly desirable. This includes technical SEO, schema markup, site structure, page speed optimization, and best practices for AI-readable content. Project Scope -Build a responsive WordPress website based on provided designs -Optimize for speed, performance, SEO, and AI search discoverability -Implement required forms and functionality -Ensure the website is easy to manage and update Ongoing Work We are also considering looking for a long-term partner who can assist with future website updates, maintenance, enhancements, and support.
