WordPress Expert Needed to Finalize UMERGE Launch Website - Leverage Existing Design and Site
Worldwide
Job Description I am looking for an experienced WordPress website designer/developer to build a polished launch website for UMERGE, an action-first civic/social platform. We already have a strong website concept, visual mockup, brand direction, page structure, and starter HTML/CSS code. I need someone who can take what we have and turn it into a clean, professional, fully editable WordPress website. The design must stay consistent with the current UMERGE landing page direction: white background, strong red accents, black typography, app screenshots, app-store-style presentation, waitlist signup, and premium startup/SaaS feel. This is not a generic WordPress template job. I need someone who can carefully recreate the design, make it responsive, make all content editable, and connect the site workflow properly. About UMERGE UMERGE is an action-first social platform where real conversations lead to real change. The platform includes civic conversations, policy voting, live engagement, communities, organizing tools, impact tracking, and a Civic Score. The website should help users quickly understand the product, join the waitlist, watch a demo, and eventually access the app and UMERGE merchandise. Existing Materials I Will Provide I will provide: Website design mockup image Starter HTML/CSS landing page code UMERGE logo App screenshots Brand colors and copy Privacy Policy and Terms links or content App Store / Google Play placeholder links Demo video link when available You may use AI tools to help speed up the work, but the final result must be clean, professional, editable, and working inside WordPress. Required Website Sections The website should include the following sections: 1. Header / Navigation Create a clean sticky or fixed-style header with: UMERGE logo Navigation links: About Features How It Works Team FAQs Join Waitlist button All navigation links should scroll to the correct section or go to the proper page. 2. Hero Section Recreate the hero design with: Eyebrow text: VOICES. ACTION. IMPACT. Main headline: Social media made voices louder. UMERGE makes them matter. Supporting copy: UMERGE is the action-first social platform where real conversations lead to real change. Buttons: Join the Waitlist Watch Demo App Store button Google Play button Large phone/app mockups on the right Red abstract background shape behind the phone mockups The hero must look good on desktop, tablet, and mobile. 3. Feature Showcase Section Create the section: BUILT FOR ACTION Everything you need to create real impact. Include five editable app screenshot cards/features: Live & In Real Time Go live, join protests, and stay connected to what’s happening now. Vote & Influence Vote on real policies and see live results from your community. Find Your People Discover communities, movements, and people who share your values. Track Your Impact Every action builds your Civic Score and shows your real-world impact. Organize & Connect Message, coordinate, and organize with your community seamlessly. Each screenshot should be easy to replace from the WordPress Media Library. 4. About Section Add a clean About section explaining what UMERGE is and why it matters. Suggested copy can be refined, but the section should communicate: UMERGE is more than another social app It connects conversation to action It helps users vote, organize, support causes, track impact, and join movements It is built for users, communities, nonprofits, creators, and civic organizations 5. How It Works Section Create a simple 3-step or 4-step workflow: Discover issues, communities, and conversations Take action through votes, petitions, events, fundraisers, and organizing tools Track your Civic Score and impact Connect with people and groups creating real-world change 6. Video / Demo Section Add a section where we can embed a YouTube, Vimeo, or uploaded marketing/demo video. Requirements: Video must be responsive Video should be editable Include a “Watch Demo” button from the hero that jumps to this section or opens the video Add placeholder text if the video link is not final yet 7. Waitlist Section Create a red call-to-action banner matching the design: Headline: Be the first to know. Supporting copy: Join the waitlist and help us build a better future together. Include: Email input field Join the Waitlist button Optional first name field if needed App Store / Google Play badges underneath The form should be connected to a WordPress form plugin or be ready to connect to Mailchimp, HubSpot, Fluent Forms, WPForms, Brevo, or similar. 8. UMERGE Shop / Merchandise Section Add either: Option A — Coming Soon Shop Preview Create a clean section for UMERGE merchandise with placeholder products: UMERGE shirt UMERGE hoodie UMERGE hat UMERGE sticker pack Include a button: Shop Coming Soon or Visit UMERGE Shop Option B — WooCommerce Setup If time allows, install and configure WooCommerce with a basic shop page. Add placeholder products that I can edit later. The shop should not delay the main website launch. If WooCommerce setup takes too long, create the merch preview section first. 9. FAQs Section Add an editable FAQ accordion with questions like: What is UMERGE? When is UMERGE launching? Will UMERGE be available on iOS and Android? What is Civic Score? Can organizations, nonprofits, and creators use UMERGE? How do I join the waitlist? Will UMERGE have merchandise? 10.
