# WordPress Freelancer Needed: Modern B2B Website for Event & Project Management Agency We are looking for an experienced WordPress freelancer to build the new corporate website for **Ammersee Events**. Most of the strategic groundwork has already been completed: our positioning, service portfolio, website structure and the majority of the copy are ready. The domain, hosting and WordPress installation are also already in place. We are therefore **not looking for an agency to run a lengthy strategy or branding process**. We need someone who understands our existing vision and can turn it into a modern, premium and conversion-focused website quickly and professionally. ## About Ammersee Events Ammersee Events is a full-service partner for **event and project management**. Our focus goes far beyond traditional event planning. We support companies, municipalities and organisations as an external project partner and take responsibility for complex event projects from planning through execution. Our services include: **Project Management** Planning, project coordination, budget and timeline management as well as coordination of all relevant stakeholders and suppliers. **Participant Management** Invitation and registration management, participant communication, hotel room blocks, arrivals and departures, special requirements and the overall organisational support of guests. **Corporate Events** Including leadership meetings, offsites, kick-offs, conferences, summer events, Christmas parties, anniversaries and multi-day corporate events. **Public Events & Municipal Projects** Management of public events including coordination with associations, authorities, suppliers and various internal and external stakeholders. **External Project Support** Flexible support for internal teams during temporary projects, periods of high workload or when additional internal resources are unavailable. We are based at Lake Ammersee in Bavaria and have a strong regional network. At the same time, we manage and deliver projects throughout Germany and beyond the Ammersee region. ## Goal of the Website The website should **not look like a typical colourful event agency website**. The desired brand experience is: **modern, premium, clear, emotional and professional.** We value large visual elements, generous white space, strong typography, high-quality cards and sections, and a well-structured user journey. Within the first few seconds, the website should communicate: **This is a professional project partner that companies can trust with complex events and projects.** At the same time, the emotional side of events should remain visible. We sell structure, reliability and relief for internal teams, but ultimately our work creates memorable experiences and meaningful encounters. ## What Is Already Available Our logo and basic corporate identity are already defined. The domain **ammersee-events.com**, hosting and WordPress installation are already set up. The website structure and extensive website copy have also been prepared and will be provided. Our existing references include projects for EGYM, eMove360° and public event projects for the municipality of Dießen am Ammersee. The freelancer will therefore **not be starting from scratch**. ## Required Website Scope For the initial launch, we need a compact but high-quality corporate website including the following areas: ### Homepage Strong positioning, service overview, our way of working, event formats, references, partner network, trust elements and clear conversion paths towards submitting a project enquiry. ### Services Presentation of our core services including project management, participant management, event coordination, hotel and location management, public events and external project support. ### Event Formats Presentation of the types of events we manage, including corporate events, leadership meetings, offsites, kick-offs, conferences, summer events, Christmas parties, anniversaries, incentives and public events. ### References & Projects The website should showcase both our clients and the actual projects we have delivered. We do not want a simple row of client logos. Selected projects should be presented as high-quality cases showing the event format, project scope and the services we provided. Examples include: **EGYM** Corporate events, meetings, offsites, leadership events, participant management, hotel and location coordination and operational project management. **eMove360°** Trade fair and event projects involving project and event coordination. **Municipality of Dießen am Ammersee** Public and municipal events, including the 700th anniversary of Markt Dießen, coordination of different event formats, associations, suppliers, authorities and internal stakeholders. The references section should combine **client logos, event formats and selected project cases** and must be easy for us to expand in the future. ### Partners & Network Our network is an important part of our positioning. Ammersee Events is deeply rooted in the Lake Ammersee region and works with hotels, event venues, restaurants, catering companies, technical suppliers and other event partners. We want this network to be visible on the website. This should **not simply be a list of logos or links**. The section should communicate: **We know the region. We know the right partners. We need a well-designed project enquiry form that collects relevant initial information such as: Company Contact person Type of event/project Location Planned date or period Number of participants Required support Current planning status Approximate budget, if appropriate Additional information Most importantly, we want to understand: **What is the goal of the event or project?** The form should help us qualify enquiries before the first call while still feeling simple and inviting to potential clients. ### Legal Pages Imprint and privacy policy must be integrated professionally. ## Technical Requirements The website must be built with WordPress. We are **not committed to a specific page builder**. We explicitly want the freelancer to recommend a sensible, reliable and maintainable setup. It is important that we can easily maintain the website ourselves after handover. We need to be able to update: copy images references and projects event formats partners team members basic page content without requiring programming knowledge or hiring a developer for every small change. We prefer using a strong existing technical foundation, template or website kit and professionally customising it rather than unnecessarily developing every section from scratch. At the same time, it needs to feel completely professional and trustworthy to managing directors, HR teams, marketing and event managers, municipalities and other public-sector clients. **No typical party, wedding or “confetti event agency” aesthetic.** ## What We Expect From You You should have strong experience with WordPress and modern B2B websites and bring more than technical implementation skills. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of: **Web design UX Conversion Responsive design WordPress Visual storytelling** Most importantly, you should be able to take existing content and independently turn it into a visually compelling website. We do **not** want to specify every box, spacing decision or content layout ourselves. We expect you to make recommendations, take design decisions and tell us when content or structures should be handled differently from a UX or conversion perspective. ## Collaboration & Timeline We would like to **start immediately and launch the website as soon as reasonably possible**. The required content can be provided quickly and we are able to give fast feedback.
