Workato Developer – ERP Integration & AI Document Processing

TITLE: Automation Recipe Developer – Agentic AI & ERP Integrations --- Lightning ERP is a boutique Infor CloudSuite consultancy (Warsaw, Poland) and member of the Workato Agentic AI Partner Network. We build AI-powered automation on top of Infor CloudSuite M3 for manufacturing and distribution clients across Europe. We are looking for a long-term automation partner, not a one-off contractor. The PoC described below is the first of multiple planned automations across our client base. If the collaboration works well, we expect ongoing, growing involvement as we roll out the agentic AI layer to additional customers and use cases. --- THE PROJECT We are building a proof-of-concept that automates customer returns processing for a European fresh produce distributor. Daily return slips (Excel and PDF) arrive from ~272 retail stores. The agent must: - Extract article codes, quantities, and reference numbers from the documents - Validate against business rules (approved article list, quantity thresholds) - Post valid returns to Infor CloudSuite M3 via REST API - Flag exceptions with a structured dispute report for human review Phase 1 covers one customer and six article types. Phases 2–3 extend to additional customers and move toward fully automated email-triggered ingestion. --- WHAT YOU WILL BUILD 1. Custom REST connector for Infor CloudSuite M3 (EXPORTMI / CUSEXTMI / MWS endpoints) — authentication, session management, error handling, data mapping. 2. IDP (Intelligent Document Processing) flow — configure structured field extraction from Excel and PDF return documents (article codes, quantities, reference numbers, store identifiers). 3. Core automation recipes — document ingestion trigger, LLM extraction call (Claude API) for unstructured content, business-rules validation (article whitelist, quantity caps), OIS390MI write recipe, dispute report assembly for exceptions. 4. Human-in-the-loop confirmation step — summary presented to user before any ERP write; deferred dispute handling for flagged documents. As engagement grows and the license scales, Phase 2/3 work will introduce Agent Studio / Genie orchestration and fully automated email-triggered ingestion. --- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - 3+ years building automation recipes on an enterprise iPaaS platform - Custom connector or custom HTTP action development against REST / JSON APIs - AI / LLM integration — calling an LLM from within an automation recipe and acting on the structured response Nice to have: - Developer-level certification on your primary automation platform - Agent Studio / Genie hands-on experience (relevant for later phases), - ERP API integration (NetSuite, SAP, Infor M3, or comparable) --- ENGAGEMENT DETAILS - Type: Freelance, hourly — ongoing cooperation - First engagement: a few weeks (PoC phase), with strong expectation of continuation, scalling both horizontally and vertically - Pipeline: additional automations across our client base follow immediately after PoC delivery - Commitment: ~10–20 hrs/week (growing over time) - Start: Q3 2026 - Timezone overlap: CET business hours preferred --- IN YOUR PROPOSAL, PLEASE ADDRESS: 1.
