YouTube Video Editor & Content VA (Long-Form + Shorts) | Ongoing Position

We're looking for a highly skilled and reliable **Virtual Assistant with strong experience in YouTube content creation, video editing, and social media** to become a long-term member of our team. This is **not** a beginner position. We're looking for someone who is proactive, creative, fast, and able to work independently once our workflow has been established. ## Your Responsibilities * Edit and produce **8 high-quality YouTube videos long form (3h approximately for video) per month** (2 per week). * Create **12 engaging YouTube Shorts per month** (3 per week). * Source and organize B-roll, graphics, animations, music, and other assets when needed. * Follow our brand guidelines, editing style, and content strategy. * Upload videos and optimize titles, descriptions, thumbnails, tags, and other YouTube metadata when required. * Suggest improvements to increase viewer retention and engagement. * Maintain a consistent publishing schedule (this is a MUST!) ## What We're Looking For You should have: * Proven experience editing YouTube videos and Shorts. * Strong understanding of YouTube best practices and audience retention. * Experience creating viral-style short-form content. * Excellent storytelling and editing skills. * Creativity while respecting brand guidelines. * The ability to work independently with minimal supervision after onboarding. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Excellent English comprehension. ## Technical Requirements This role requires professional equipment.  (You must use your own professional softwares / AI subscriptions) **Please do not apply if:** * You have a slow or unstable internet connection. * You use an outdated or underpowered computer that results in slow editing, rendering, or uploading. * You frequently miss deadlines or rely on technical issues as excuses. We value reliability and speed. Our workflow depends on consistent delivery, and meeting deadlines is essential. ## Trial Period Shortlisted candidates will complete a ** 5-day trial**. (These 5 days will be included in your monthly payment. Successful completion of the five-day trial is required. Failure to do so may result in termination of the contract) During the trial, you'll create: * **2 full-length YouTube videos** * **2 YouTube Shorts** We will provide all the necessary information, assets, and guidelines. The trial will evaluate: * Editing quality * Creativity * Ability to follow instructions * Speed of execution * Communication * Overall professionalism ## Long-Term Opportunity If you're successful during the trial, this will become a long-term collaboration with ongoing monthly work.
