Summary

Hi everyone, I'm looking for an experienced Finance & Business Analyst to join our team and help us build a data-driven business. The goal is to give us complete visibility over our numbers and create systems that allow us to make better decisions every day. Responsibilities 1. Financial Reporting & Cost Analysis - Build clear reporting across all business expenses. - Track operating costs and identify opportunities to reduce unnecessary spending. - Provide regular financial insights and recommendations. 2. Profit & Loss (P&L) Management - Own our P&L reporting and ensure we understand the key drivers of profitability. - Produce weekly and monthly reports. - Highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. 3. Sales & Performance Analytics - Monitor daily sales performance across Shopify and Amazon. - Identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability. - Create dashboards with actionable insights rather than just reporting numbers. 4. Product Profitability & COGS - Analyse COGS and gross margins by product. - Identify our most profitable SKUs. - Recommend pricing, bundling, and new product opportunities based on data. 5. Marketing Performance - Analyse advertising performance across Shopify and Amazon. - Track CAC, ROAS, MER, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value. - Help identify opportunities to reduce CAC and improve marketing efficiency. 6. Systems & Automation - Build reliable reporting systems that provide accurate daily or real-time data. - Automate manual reporting using AI, dashboards, and integrations. - Ensure everyone in the business has access to accurate, up-to-date information. What I'm Looking For I'm looking for someone who has built reporting and analytics systems before - not someone who only creates spreadsheets. Ideally, you'll have experience with: - Shopify - Amazon Seller Central - Excel / Google Sheets (advanced) - Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar BI tools - AI tools and workflow automation - Financial modelling and FP&A - Inventory and COGS analysis - E-commerce metrics and KPI reporting Success in this role means: - We have accurate daily numbers we can trust. - We understand exactly where we're making and losing money. - We know which products are most profitable. - Marketing spend is tracked and optimised. - Reporting is largely automated. - Leadership can make decisions using live data rather than assumptions.
