Hi there! I have a networking related puzzle I need solved and I'm looking for the correct person to pay to help me resolve it. What am I attempting to accomplish? I currently am attempting to run a game service through COD:Black Ops 6 which requires me to consistently ensure a lobby of 12 users are matched together in the same game. I require someone with the knowledge and expertise able to configure the networking to force this to happen every game. Where am I getting stuck? When two teams (of 6 players) in different lobbies under my control attempt to matchmake normally, we are placed against other teams. To my knowledge matchmaking is controlled by multiple factors but mainly by Ping and Geolocation. This means when no configuration is done, I am connected to a large pool of players that are similar in geolocation and ping. What do I think could be the solution? Some suggestions I have heard that POTENTIALLY make it able force these 2 lobbies to connect with only eachother when matchmaking are - 1. Configuring the "host" of each 6-person lobby to run a VPN connection in a remote location with high ping 2. Editing/changing the NAT type 3. Using a Geo-Filter on the "hosts" of each lobby. 4. Scenario 1 : Dual ISP with Rogers(300 MB/s ) and Bell (as Redundant ISP or High Availability (HA) I understand that the 5506X can be configured for HA using one of the other interfaces but worried that Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) will “ bottleneck “ the throughput. Is this possible ? Is it possible to have a Ubiquiti UDM pro added behind this that we leverage the 600Mbs and add Ubiquiti APs to this ? Scenario 2 : Bell has provided their own router for the 600Mbs Fiber. It’s a Juniper NFX 250 Router. How can we combine these 2 ? (ASA 5505X with Rogers 300Mbs + Juniper NFX 250 Router with Bell Fiber) so that the network that sits behind the CISCO ASA 5506X can still leverage the NFX 250 and the high bandwidth from Bell ?
