I am a software professional with about 35 years of experience. C++ expert with 26 years experience, most of it full time. My C++ experience includes the meta-level because I have implemented a C++ parser for the C++ subsystem of an IDE. For that task I had to read the 1998 C++ ISO-Standard line by line and implement it. Of course, nowadays I use the new features of C++11 and C++14, which make developing in C++ a lot more efficient. I have 8 years fulltime experience writing and maintaining server-processes on Windows for a mission critical application. (command and control centers for fire-fighters, ambulance, police) My own company provides a screen recording solution for mission critical systems. This is primarily used in air traffic control systems now. I have several years experience with computational geometry. This experience was primarily gathered while designing and implementing algorithms and data structures for a 3D CAD kernel. My master's thesis is about one aspect of that work.
