2025 to now: founder and CTO at Shivlam. Built an AR app that overlays BIM models on active construction sites, piloted with enterprise builders in India. Built the 4D browser viewer mentioned above.
WHY THE DOMAIN DEPTH MATTERS
I link schedule tasks to IFC objects by GlobalId, not expressID, so links survive model re-exports. If a re-export has ever broken your data, you know why this matters. Same story with point cloud noise in cluttered real spaces, ARKit drift on large sites, IFC schema quirks between authoring tools. I have hit these problems already, on shipped products.
