    Over the past 13 years I have made my living from drafting, 3D modeling, and BIM. Throughout that time I have worked for different companies, with various softwares, on a wide variety of projects. Because of this diverse experience, I have a lot of knowledge and tools I can put together to form solutions and get the job done. The companies I’ve worked for have mostly been mechanical engineering and mechanical contractors but sometimes the job needs something extra. I’ve made whole building models from old plans. I once made a model/rendering of a booth my company set up at a convention, down to individual candies in a bowl. I have fun with what I do, I’ve also made a model of my own house in my spare time. The list of software and tools I’ve used is a long one. The most notable ones are AutoCAD (plain and MEP), Revit (through 2020), Dynamo, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Microstation. I’ve gone deep enough into AutoCAD to be able to make my own customizations, commands, scripts, and simple Lisp routines. In Revit I have set up company templates and standards, helped build an equipment family library, and built custom tools with Dynamo to speed up tasks that would usually be cumbersome in Revit.
