The second important strength is Solidworks CAD/CAM/CAE software's deep knowledge, including SW Add-Ins of other vendors. In addition, I develop the software applications for engineering purposes using C# .NET and do CAD automation using the full range of the capabilities from the equation and design tables to VB SW macro and SolidWorks API using C# language. ⇨ Product design workflow: Most likely and recommended to our typical workflow would be iterative with a mutual brief discussion. The main idea of this approach is to make the process of product designing more cost-effective, that means don't do extra work before no mutual agreement is reached. The typical stages are: General Concept & Layouting - First Prototype - MVP - Detailed Assemble - 2D drawings, GD&T - First Manufactured Prototype - Mass Production. Between all the stages can be minor adjustments to make the product more viable. ⇨ DFM, DFMA approach The important thing that I want to highlight is if any part has been modeled by me, be sure, it always means at least two things: - material type of the part is known - part manufacturing method is also known if the parts have been assembled, be sure, it means that assembly sequence is known as well another details as: fastening methods, possible friction pairs, dimension stack and gaps, surface roughness, surface treatments, etc. That'swhy, I'm ready to provide FULL SERVICE for the client projects from idea, first concept and MVP to first workable prototype manufactured using low series production methods and even up to their serial production if necessary. ⇨ SolidWorks CAD Automation and Parametric Modeling CAD automation can significantly improve the efficiency of development by eliminating an employee from repetitive tasks. Most often the 3D modeling requires automation for 3D model/assembly flexible rebuild into different configurations with different dimensions and geometry. Very often, such automation can be implemented by using standard SolidWorks tools like global variables, equations, and excel spreadsheets design tables without any programming languages. In cases of more complex CAD automation SolidWorks provides open application programmable interface (API or SolidWorks API) that allows software developers to make direct calls from another standalone app or built-in Solidworks Add-INs to SolidWorks core functionality using such programming languages as C# and not only. I'm not a professional software developer in usual meaning, I'm more mechanical engineer than software engineer, but I'm growing in this direction and have deep understanding of the SolidWorks software. I have already developed several software apps and modules for engineering purposes.
