I don't build training people sit through. I build learning that measurably changes how they work. That means I'm not designing a course and handing it over. I'm designing an ecosystem: measurable change in your people, impact your organisation can see, a loop that evolves with them rather than expiring after delivery, and individuals who come away feeling more competent and capable. If you're looking for a tick-box exercise, I'm not the right fit. If you want learning that compounds, keep reading. That's been my question for eight years across legal education, professional development, and most recently, AI literacy. Every project starts the same way: what does this person need to be able to do, what's preventing them, and what would need to change for the learning to still be useful when this person is back out 'in the wild'? ⚡ What that's looked like in practice → Emergent law for non-traditional audiences: Designed a full legal curriculum teaching drone regulation to US high school students with zero legal background. The design challenge was translating complex, multi-layered law (federal, state, city) into something teenagers engage with and retain. The course used narrative anchoring so learners remember legal principles through case stories rather than definitions, scenario-based assessment where ambiguity is deliberate (the "right" answer depends on reasoning, not recall), and adversarial argumentation where students prosecute and defend the same case. It was also designed so a non-lawyer facilitator runs it from the playbook with full decision-tree support, which means the quality of the learning doesn't depend on a subject matter expert being present in every room. → Human-centred AI system design: Designed and delivered a cohort programme where each participant builds a personalised AI system around their own cognitive profile. The design innovation is that the programme starts with human extraction (how does this person think, communicate, and process) before any technology is introduced. Each session follows an extract-verify-organise-create sequence, and the AI system is built iteratively from what surfaces, not from a template. Iterated across two cohorts using live session data: what participants struggled with, where the design assumptions were wrong, and what needed restructuring between sessions. A cognitive protection layer was added after the first two cohorts when it became clear that productivity gains from AI created their own kind of exhaustion that needed to be accounted for in the design layer. → App-based learning: Contributed to learning design for Busuu (mobile-first, language learning at scale). And separately designed the English for Lawyers app concept (that received the PwC Industry Innovation Special Mention 2025), using AI-powered narrative anchoring to teach legal language through contextual stories rather than vocabulary lists. The design principle in both: learning on a phone has to earn attention in competition with everything else on the phone, so every interaction has to do real cognitive work, not just present information. → Identity and communication for legal professionals: Designed diagnostic-led workshops and coaching programmes for lawyers navigating career transitions, leadership visibility, and cross-cultural communication. The design started with diagnosing the underlying barrier (which is rarely what the client initially presents as the problem) and builds the intervention around that diagnosis. This translated to covering hierarchical friction, cultural code-switching, and identity misalignment between how a professional sees themselves and how they need to be seen. ⚡ My approach I start with a diagnostic, not a template. Who's the audience, what do they need to do differently, what's been tried, why it hasn't worked. If you need a course built quickly, I can do that. But if previous training hasn't worked and you're stuck, that's where my work is strongest. ⚡ What I'm working with right now Legal: designing AI literacy audits for law firms ahead of the EU AI Act enforcement deadline in August, diagnosing whether existing training produces the literacy the regulation requires. AI: building production workflows using Claude for legal and educational content. Both lines come back to the same question: is this person equipped for what their role now requires? ⚡ Background → Learning Technologies 30 Under 30 (2024) → PwC Industry Innovation Award (2025) → Expert-Vetted, Top 1% on Upwork → Dual UK and Spanish law degrees → Forbes Legal Advisor contributor → Founder, Lawyerly (legal learning experience design) ⚡ Open to Curriculum and programme design · AI literacy consulting · Facilitation and workshop design · Learning strategy and diagnostic · App-based learning · Legal and regulatory content · AI-assisted workflow design If you're not sure if your project fits, please message me and we can talk it through.

✦ ✦ ✦ I offer a FREE 30-minute consultation — message me to book yours. MOST CONTRACTS ARE WRITTEN FOR THE OTHER SIDE. If you've received a contract to sign, there's a good chance it was drafted by the other party's lawyers, with provisions designed to protect their interests, limit their liability, and maximise their flexibility at your expense. I'm here to change that. My name is Alice. I'm an Oxford University Law graduate and qualified Barrister (University of Law, London), with over six years of legal experience — including five years in the Enforcement Division of the Financial Conduct Authority, the UK's financial regulator, where I spent my professional life analysing the documents that large institutions use to protect themselves. I now work exclusively in contract law — drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for founders, freelancers, creators, coaches, agencies, businesses, and individuals who need legal protection that actually works. Whether you're a founder, a freelancer, a creator, or simply someone who needs a contract lawyer on your side — I'm here. At $150/hour, you're getting Oxford and Bar-qualified expertise at a fraction of what a high street solicitor or barrister would charge. --- THE LAW IS A SHIELD. The legal system was built by those with the resources to shape it, and most standard contracts reflect that. The terms of service written by the platform's lawyers. The supplier agreement drafted by the supplier's legal team. The employment contract designed to protect the employer. The investor term sheet structured to favour the investor. Most people sign these documents without fully understanding what they've agreed to. The protection they thought they had isn't always there. I make sure you see the full picture — before you sign. I believe a contract is the most precise expression of two parties' genuine intentions — and when it's written well, in plain language, by someone on your side, it's the most powerful legal protection available to any individual or business. When it's written by the other party, for the other party, you're at a disadvantage. This is what drives my practice. I'm not here to generate paperwork. I'm here to ensure that the documents governing your most important professional and personal relationships are working for you — not against you. --- WHAT I DO: ✦ Contract Drafting. Bespoke contracts written from scratch — in plain language, covering your specific situation, protecting your interests precisely. Every contract I produce is tailored to you. Not a template. Not an adaptation. Yours. ✦ Contract Review. You send me the contract you've received. I tell you exactly what it says — including the provisions that were designed to protect the other party at your expense. You sign knowing precisely what you've agreed to. ✦ Pre-Litigation Contractual Advice. Have a potential breach of contract situation? I assess your position, review your evidence, and advise on whether you have a viable claim or counterclaim — before you spend money on formal proceedings. UK courts require pre-litigation negotiation before a claim is filed. I guide you through that process. ✦ Contract Negotiation. As a trained Barrister, negotiation is a core skill — not an add-on. I negotiate on your behalf and support you at every stage, whether pre-contract, mid-dispute, or pre-litigation. --- WHY MY CLIENTS COME BACK. I don't take on work I can't do exceptionally well, which is why my practice is focused exclusively on contract law and the advisory work that surrounds it. Contracts aren't paperwork to me. They're language — and language is everything. A single poorly drafted clause, an ambiguous definition, a missing provision — these aren't minor oversights. They're the gaps that disputes fill. I'm obsessive about precision because I've seen, from the inside, what happens when the words aren't right. I bring to every contract the analytical rigour of an Oxford law degree, the advocacy training of the Bar, and the practical intelligence of five years reading the documents that regulators and institutions use to protect their own interests. I know what a well-drafted agreement looks like. I know what the other party's lawyers are trying to achieve. And I know how to write the version that protects you. A decade on this platform. Clients who return. Read their words below. --- READY TO BEGIN? ✦ ✦ ✦ Message me to arrange your FREE 30-minute consultation. No obligation. Just a conversation about your situation — and whether I'm the right person to help. You signed the contract they wrote. Now let's write the one that protects you. --- OXFORD-TRAINED. BAR-QUALIFIED. CONTRACT SPECIALIST. ON YOUR SIDE.
